Fave Toning Mist / Toner

Currently about to buy some more toning mist (I find the spray on one’s just easier and quicker personally) and I’d love to hear what you’re using / what’s your favourite ever / or must have toner?

I’m currently using the Trilogy one but need to get some more soon!

I like the hydrating types even though I have an oily T-Zone and combination skin.

I have the SKII Skin Essense.
I’ve only just started using one, it isn’t in a spray bottle, you just drop a few drops in a palm and pat into skin. I’m unsure if it makes a massive difference yet.
I do know that one of the most raved products is SkII Skin Essense and THAT is a toner. Beauty pros. Rave about it, so perhaps it has some value in your routine.

I recently purchased the Clinique Moisture Surge Face Spray after hearing really great reviews and wanting a more hydrating toner (although I love my Simple Skincare toner which I’ve been using for years) and it is fantastic! Cooling on the skin and it adds a nice surge of moisture (though I wouldn’t compare its hydrating properties to that of an actual moisturizer). I’ve found that using this spray as a toner over a usual product on cotton pad has allowed my skincare to penetrate my skin more!

L’Occitane Shea Butter Toner – a tad more expensive, and comes in pump-bottle design (don’t ask me why). But definitely more hydrating than Avene thermal spray.

What I did was find a 100ml empty spray bottle and pour half of my L’Occitane toner into it, and ta da! Toner that can be “sprayed’!

Oh I must try those! I was actually telling me husband that I was going to make my own oil mix out of macadamia, sweet almond, and lavender for the calming effect.

Unfortunately I have to stay on the meds (225mg Effexor and 30mg of mirtazapine) otherwise I get nasty headaches. The nasty headaches caused weakening in my carotid artery which caused an aneurysm to burst almost 3 years ago, almost died :(. I’ll have to have a look at the perfect potion stuff. My daughter gifted me a few of their products :). The sweats are horrible. The meds give me cold cold feet one minute, can get a sweat the next minute lol.

I don’t really have a favourite but purchased the Trilogy one yesterday and the Model Co one today. The Rose scent attracted me to them. I do like the Sukin one in the summer to mist my face during the day. My Effexor medication makes me get the sweats at times. For the low price, Sukin is great for middle of the day hydration.

I use good old Witch Hazel extract and Lush Eau de Roma. I haven’t gone for anything else lately. I’ve just recently bought new ones of both so…

I’m another who likes the People for Plants and Sukin ones and have bought them many times. I also like the Grown Alchemist one but it’s not in a spray bottle which is a bit of a pain – I usually put it in one of the empty People for Plants ones!

I’m very interested in trying out the Mario Badescu (sp?) one next time I need to get one as they’re only $9 and have pretty good reviews. Bargain price for a higher end brand!

ETA – on the ‘hydrating’ front the best I’ve tried was the Happy Skincare ‘Raindrops on Roses’ spray toner which I got in one of the sample packs you used to be able to buy (you may still be able to?) I haven’t repurchased it though as I feel it’s a bit expensive for a toner. It really is lovely though…

I think Sukin Hydrating Mist Toner will suits you, because it is alcohol-free and combines chamomile and rosewater which gives you fresh refreshment. Sukin Hydrating Mist Toner is suitable for all skin types.
