I would not recommend shaving as then the hair would grow back as stubble and that means the skin won’t be as soft and it with have bumps. I would recommend at home waxing though. At home waxing is good because its cheap and also it means you can wax as often as you want.. I know you might have concerns about sensitive skin and using certain wax so i think a good natural brand like nads is good that way you wont breakout or get rashes. Here is the facial wax i use http://nads.com/hair-removal-products/nads-natural-hair-removal-facial-wand-eyebrow-shaper for my eyebrows and http://nads.com/hair-removal-products/nads-hair-removal-facial-wax-strips for my upper lip and other areas.

as I am in my late 60’s I started to have this problem too, but I was lucky and got to trail some Marzena sensitive Hair remover lotion, it is magic stuff. After using it as recommended on the tube I now only have to use it occasionally. It works on the growth area of the hair and after using it for a short time seems to stop the hair regrowing. It is worth giving it a try honestly, you can probaly find my and others reviews here on BH..Best of luck

I’m in the same boat. I’ve tried everything, including laser which helped for about 6 months but everything has slowly started coming back again & now it’s worse than before. I was told when I started laser treatment that because it was my chin & some hairs along my jawbone that it was probably caused by hormones & that it wouldn’t be a permanent fix. I can’t afford laser again so I mostly pluck, then when there’s just too many hairs or I don’t have time I’ll just shave it.

I have the same problem. Even waxing seams to only last like a week and then it’s noticeable again. I’ve thought of bleaching but am to nervous to try it.
If you do find a solution, any solution please update me on it please. Good luck

I think if you’ve tried all of that, and find it grows back fast, that shaving isn’t going to make much of a difference unfortunately.

As I have dark hair and pale skin, the stray hairs on my eyebrows and my upper lip are quite noticeable. I find that getting my eyebrows waxed monthly and plucking carefully in between visits helps, and I use a hair removal creme on my upper lip.

If it is really bothering you then maybe have a consultation at a laser hair removal place to see what they can offer you and how many sessions you will need to become hair free 🙂 Good luck!

I’m in the same boat, I’m scared to shave though but the amount of girls who are doing it now does not make it seem so bad. I personally am just considering laser.

Not me, but my friend bleaches and you can’t see it at all. Perhaps you can look into that?
