Members were concerned with dull, sun-damaged and pigmented skin, uneven skin tone, oily skin with large pores, and fine lines. The Dr. LeWinn’s Reversaderm Advanced Skin Correction Starter Kit is a resurfacing treatment range that that works to diminish the appearance of imperfections including sun spots, fine lines and acne scars for brighter, smoother and more youthful-looking skin.
The five-step system features a salon-quality cleanser, peel, serum, regenerative cream and mask, which are designed to be used together in a two-week treatment cycle. Containing a variety of potent and effective ingredients to ensure the renourishing and renewal of damaged and ageing skin, the treatment is a cost-effective alternative to more painful and expensive treatments such as microdermabrasion and some chemical peels.
The Glycolic Clarifying Cleanser is used daily for the first two weeks, and then as required. It is an AHA cleanser that removes make-up and daily residue, and helps improve the appearance of photo-aged, sun damaged and acne-scarred skin.
The Micro-Cellular Age Correcting Peel is used every second day for two weeks, then once a week. It encourages microcellular exfoliation, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and brown spots, while evening out skin tone and enhancing radiance.
The Tri-Collagen Accelerating Serum is used daily for the first two weeks and provides intense nourishment and encourages cell regeneration for radiant and youthful-looking skin.
TheAntioxidant Regenerative Cream is used twice daily for the first two weeks and contains antioxidants to deeply condition the skin and help restore its protective barrier.
The Enzymatic Detoxifying Mask is a gentle exfoliating mask used weekly for the first two weeks that leaves the skin smoother and brighter while visibly reducing pore size and fine lines.
The majority of testers found the product to be effective in making their skin feel firmer and tighter. It was also mentioned that their skin felt very hydrated and smoother, even after using the kit for a few days. By the end of the trial, many testers found their skin looked clearer and had a youthful glow. Members noticed the products were very light, and the serum and moisturiser absorbed well. Many testers were impressed with the straightforward and easy-to-use nature of the kit, and that the products had a very pleasant fruit fragrance.
Some members did mention that some of the products produced a tingling sensation on the skin, however they got used to it after a few days of use. Some members found the fragrance slightly overpowering, but once again, it was easy to get used to throughout the trial period.
