Does anyone know of a Micellar Water not tested on Animals?

I love my Bioderma H20 but have read on the internet (however waiting on confirmation from the company) that Bioderma is tested on animals. I’m trying to move away from brands that are NOT Cruelty Free. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Such a shame that seemingly ‘ethical’ brands such as Simple and The Body Shop are owned by large corporations which do.. I will stop buying Garnier’s micellar water.

It would be great if all companies would stop testing on animals, it is so unnecessary. I need to check this when I buy products.

Thank you for the additional information beautylover_23 i purchased the Simple water and seems to be pretty good, however rading your post about Unilever testing on animals is a sureity that i won’t be purchasing it again. Thank You.

Also, I just want to point out that the parent company of the brand Simple is Unilever, which has a pretty disturbing record of animal testing. While Simple itself might not test on animals its profit goes toward a company that tests on animals quite abundantly.

I second the Simple micellar water. They don’t add fragrance as well which I love.

Bioderma has responded to my question stating that their products are not tested on animals. I have tried the Garnier water and didn’t like it as much as Bioderma however I will check out the other products mentioned above as I’m sure it would be a lot cheaper. Thanks for your help : )

I’ve just found that Avene also have a micellar cleanser (Micellaire Lotion Cleanser & Makeup Remover), their products also do not test on animals!

Simple Skincare have a micellar water, and they don’t test on animals and they don’t use any animal derived products, if that helps 🙂

You could try Swisse Micellar Makeup Remover. Their website says that it is not tested on animals:

I’ve seen a micellar water from a French organic brand called Melvita on Look Fantastic. I assume that the company is cruelty-free, but I couldn’t see anything on their website:
