Byphasse – anyone tried?

This is a new skincare brand at Chemist Warehouse and apparently their micellar water is very similar to Bioderma (which I love). It’s a Spanish brand and I have never heard of them but I think I will give a few of their products a go (micellar water and shower cream are looking tempting). They are very cheap which makes me a bit wary. Has anyone heard of or had any experience with this brand?

I bought the micellar water for $4.99 at chemist warehouse yesterday and I’ve fallen in love! It’s a huge 500ml bottle of goodness that just wipes away every trace of makeup on my face. Its managed to remove waterproof mascara, the maybelline colour tattoos and gel eyeliner without a hint of residue or smudging. So effective and super good value for money, I won’t purchase bioderma again 🙂

When considering a cheaper brand, always check the ingredient list- google everything you don’t recognise. Also, google the brand name, then the product name, and check out reviews.

I bought the micellar water, and I honestly really dislike it. It removes makeup really well, but I broke out with huge, red pimples the next day. I continued to use it the week after the pimples went down, and the next morning I had four huge pimples that hurt upon touch. Nothing else had changed in regards to skin products or diet or anything that causes pimples.
I have normal skin that is not sensitive so I’m not sure why my skin broke out so heavily with this water.
I much prefer the Simple makeup wipes.

I have used the micellar cleansing water and I love it. There is not one makeup item that it can’t remove. It’s the first remover/removing wipes that hasn’t irritated my sensitive eyes or skin. It always removes makeup even after I’ve used a wipe and think I’ve taken it all off. I’ve had for a lot more than 6 months now and I still have about half left. I got mine from chemist warehouse at 50% off for $5, this is what i call value for money. I also have tried the soothing face scrub which is gentle enough on my skin however it’s not good for exfoliating.

I just picked up their toner today. Very good price and it’s huge!

Their micellar water was out of stock for a while but I noticed it is finally back in stock so I grabbed a few bottles. Haven’t had a chance to try yet.

I have been using their rosewater toner and it’s very refreshing on the skin.

I bought the jeunesse Q10 instant lift eye cream – it has a very strong sunscreen-smell to it ( SPF15). I also found that it stung my eyes if it got too close, which isn’t very helpful for an eyecream that is supposed to go around your eyes. It had a nice consistency, and felt moisturising, but I’m not sure that it reduced fine lines at all. Also, the pot isn’t very sturdy, as the green inset broke away from the clear outer part, making it very difficult to close the pot between uses.

I love thier micellar water and hand cream. Micellar water is so cheap like cherry pie and Rabia865 mentioned above. I have been using it for few months now and still haven’t finished the 500ml bottle. It is good value for money too.

I have extremely sensitive eyes and removing eye makeup can be quite painful for me. All the wipes and makeup removers I’ve tried irritate my eyes leaving them sore and teary or don’t remove all the makeup. I was at Chemist Warehouse shopping one day when i saw the Byphasse micellar water for $4.99/500mL, i had to give it a go. I was so happy with it. It removes all my makeup really well even the long wearing waterproof stuff and doesn’t irritate my eyes. It also doesn’t leave my skins feeling dry. Only down side is it does leave a bit of a sticky residue but I don’t mind it because I always wash my face with a cleanser afterwards. I’ve had it for 3-4 months now with a lot of use and still have 2/3 of the bottle still left so value for money! I also recently bought their scrub for dry and sensitive skin as my skin is very dry especially now its winter and I really enjoyed the experience. It exfoliated my skin without leaving it dry (other scrubs have done this) instead left it feeling clean, fresh, soft and moisturized. I am looking forward to try other products.
