Best lip balm ever?

My lips get very dry as I play saxophone and my lips are constantly touching my spit from the mouthpiece. Ive tried heaps of lip balms including carmex, blixtex, burt’s bees, l’oreal, body shop, jurlique, maybelline baby lips, vaseline, lip smackers and more. While some of them work, I don’t feel like i’ve found my HG. I’m currently relying on the original Burt’s Bees lip balm and carmex but are there better on the market? Will pay anything under $50 AUS.

While people are saying Paw Paw cream, make sure you buy the PINK NOT THE RED tube.
The pink All Natural Paw Paw lipbalm from Nature’s Care is petrochemical free.
The red tube has petrochemicals, ending you back where you started.

I like Maybelline Baby Lips in a berry flavour and Chapsticks in Strawberry. I also use Avon plumping lip conditioner which is great and contains collagen to plump and smooth lips.

I’ll just keep buying my EOS lipbalms from BeautyBay. There’s usually a million and one things I want from there anyway. I could browse their site for hours. In fact, I often do!

I’m currently loving my EOS lipbalm. I’ve got the pink one, I think it’s strawberry sorbet. Whatever it is, it’s lovely. I got it from Beautybay, and I’ll definitely be ordering more. I just wish they were more readily available.

they’re for sale in Australia now Rose, there’s another thread mentioning you can buy them at a lot of Costco stores for a good price

We used to be members when Costco first opened in Melbourne, but we didn’t renew our membership, as we didn’t think it was worth the $60. We’ve got friends who still go there regularly, so I might ask them nicely (or bribe them) to pick some up for me. We don’t have Costco (or anything much else for that matter) here in Darwin.

Has anyone seen it at Costco docklands? I looked around several times and still can’t find it

My favourite lip balms do change around a bit, but I do really like Lanolips – they give me moisture, SPF protection and a gorgeous colour.

I’ve also been using Burt’s Bees lip balms regularly this year, their honey version and original / peppermint version. Boy do those little tubes last and last.

Have you tried the Nuxe one? It is HG for many people and you can give it a go during the coming Priceline skincare 40% sale. 😀

I won one of these recently, yet to try it as I’m trying to finish my Burt’s Bees one in my handbag first. It looks super-moisturising

I am in the middle of using up several at once. I have four or five open and another three unopened. Quite surprisingly, it’s the good old, run of the mill Chapstick which is my favourite. Closely followed by DB’s coconut lip balm (which I’m pretty sure doesn’t contain palm oil).

I want to try L’Occitane’s one since their shea butter hand cream and the shea butter foot cream are AMAZING. Of course, this won’t be until I’m done with all the others.

I have one of the L’Occitane lip balms, I think Mango Flower. I don’t like it at all. Makes my lips feel weird.
