At home diamond microdermabrasion

Hi all, I LOVE diamond microdermabrasion. Recently i read a lot of articles, reviews, and blog posts about at home diamond microcermabrasion.
There are a few brands available in Australia and a few brands send to Australia from overseas. I wonder if anyone has tried any and would like to share their experiences here 🙂

    I have just come on to ask this question and thought I’d do a quick search.
    So I was sadly watching an infomercial on the My perfect skin Microdermabrasion at home kit and did some searches afterwards.

    It’s $329 so on the higher side but I guess when you pay in a salon $150+ I guess it makes it’s money back but has really good reviews from what I could find.

    Has anyone used this exact one and what do you think?

      hey there, I was wondering whether you ended up purchasing this?

      I too am looking for a home microdermabrasion machine but am really not sure which one to go with – I know the suction power is one of the most important features but it’s not like you can trial them all!

        Hi Carinagucci,

        Yes i did buy the NewSpa microdermabrasion machine.
        I have to buy the home version rather than the professional version due to power conversion.
        I am using it fortnightly to monthly. I can see a build up at the filter which i change after every 2nd to 3rd use.
        However, the effect is certainly not as effective as the salon treatment.

      I ordered my diamond microdermabrasion machine from the brand “”New Spa””. It cost me US $189 plus shipping. The machine is quite durable, very well made. I have to specifically check and make sure the voltage is suitable for Australian use, given that i am purchasing from overseas.
      I use the machine regularly, i don`t think it is quite as effective as professional grade, but certainly works in regards of exfoliation. I use it about weekly, in conjuction with at home chemical AHA peeling.
      The only thing that i worry about cleaning the diamond tips. I try to submerge them in hot water, but is never quite sure if i have cleaned it enough.
