Hair Salons in Brisbane?
I’ve been living in Brisbane for about 18 Months and have tried about 10 hairdressers…none of which I liked! I have short quite high maintenance hair so I need someone good. Looking at Brisbane southside or city. There seem to be plenty northside but that’s too far. Help!

I have the same problem, I’ve been here for 5 years tried so many hairdressers but it just seems like no one can get it right. I would certainly not recommend going to Corcorz at Southbank. They’re snobby and do a half a**ed job like they can’t wait to get rid of you. Except for Adam who’s a sweetheart but still I wouldn’t go back. I’ll try Elysium next, thanks for the tip!
Yeah I mean to be honest I am picky with hairdressers but I’ve always been able to eventually find one I like. It can’t be that hard to be kind and do a good job? Surely!

Recently I went to Elysium Hair and Beauty in the city and I quite liked it. Having said that I don’t have high maintenance hair. I think they has fantastic customer service though and the hairdressers really listen to what you want.
Perhaps I’ll give them a go. I think friendly staff and good customer service are really a necessity in hairdressing since we spend so much time there! It seems to be a rarity though… A lot of cattiness and judgements being passed around. anyway…thanks for the help!
That is so true, there’s nothing worse than a snobby judgemental hairdresser. The girls are Elysium are really sweet, plus they have cupcakes! I’d love to hear how you find the place
Well I’ll be sure to let you know, although it will be another 6 weeks till I go now!

Thanks guys, I tried Savvy hair in Ashgrove because I heard of them through a friend. All very friendly and my hair looks good! Unfortunately they are on the other side of the city and a tad over budget… But I would recommend them to anyone near the area 🙂

Oscar Oscar Salon in the CBD are always great whenever I visit. They’re not cheap though so be prepared to spend extra. Always book in a consultation thought, it’s free and reassuring for you and your stylist.
I’ve heard mixed things about Oscar Oscar. I heard some of the staff are kind of snobby and don’t have the best customer service, but I’m sure it’s not all of them
