Whats your Holy Grail Foundation?

I have been loyal to my Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation for quite some time now, and as a student with a low income, I can’t afford to go buy 5 different products and try them out to see what I like, so I was wondering if anyone can recommend any foundations that they love for normal to oily skin! Thank you!

Estee Lauder’s doublewear is great for slightly oily skin as it is quite dry. It lasts forever and has super great coverage. If you want a cheaper drugstore dupe, check out maybelline superstay and revlon colourstay. They both have great coverage and give you a matte finish.

I’ve got oily skin & I love mineral powder. I’ve been buying Physicians Formula for years, but it’s American & there are Aussie mineral powders that I’ve heard about now. PF are at Priceline, but any mineral powder is good for oiliness.

Still haven’t found my holy grail foundation… Guess it just depends on your skin and what you want.
Chanel Mat Lumiere is the closes so far but the colour just never seems right, kinda.. dirty/greying? Revlon Colourstay was good to me for a long time but always a bit pink. Maybelline Fit Me is just way too shiny. Love the Garnier BB creams in medium for summer but the light shade is too pink again for winter.
Next stop is L’Oreal True Match, heard so many good things about that one.

Honestly how good is Rimmels wake me up range? I think I have the light perfecting one. It’s really, REALLY pale. And I’ve tried to mix foundations but the textures are too different. My problem is I need a holy grail foundation.

Georgio Armani Luminous Silk is my very favourite foundation.

Its amazing. Go and get colour matched at a estee lauder counter. The range is perfect.

My hg is estee lauder double wear light. Its great for oily skin, provides sheer to med coverage and gives me a glow. Lasts for 12 hours, doesn’t rub off and is really good colour match.
Its much lighter than the original. So I prefer this.
Its 50 bucks but my bottle lasts me two years so its more affordable in the end
    And I don’t break out.

It’s funny but i used to only buy high end foundations when i was younger (and poorer) but with age and experience I’ve learnt that pricier doesn’t always mean better. I’ve gone through a few bottles of Revlon Colourstay over the years as it was great for my combination skin (that leaned on the oilier side)-kept my oil at bay, long lasting and lovely finish. These days though my skin is ‘normal’ and I’m loving the Rimmel Perfect match foundation. Looks and feels great-wears better with time with medium coverage and lays all day on me.

I have normal to oily skin and LOVE the covergirl outlast 3 in 1 foundation! It has a beautiful finish and lasts all day!

My skin is normal to oily and not perfect but not super bad… I love Nars tinted moisturiser. Not cheap but you get a lot, and not heavy coverage.
