Chi Chi BB cream is excellent, medium coverage with spf 30 i think.

i usually go with BB cream for summer or a very light/ sheer foundation as they don’t give a heavy coverage look and it is good for hot summer day.

I’ve been trying the Nivea CC Cream while on holiday in far Nth Qld recently, and found it to be a terrific product. No sign of melting off in the heat, or fading, I wore it to an outdoor wedding & it was still great at the end of the night.

I won my tube, but I think it’s very affordable ie under $20

I also recommend what TiffanyB had recommended, Invisible Zinc (the light version is my favourite) is both an excellent sun protection product & tinted moisturiser in one

Have you tried invisible zinc tinted daywear? I use it with a translucent powder on top and it’s great. It’s thick, but does the job

I’m not sure of the price Roxy, I just know I read it this week, and made a mental note to definitely check it out. I think it’s out on the 12th, so you should be able to find it instore from now.

Agree completely re minimal makeup and CC creams, they’re my go-to in the hot Perth summer.

Thanks for the heads up Linda on Lancome’s new CC cream. A good CC cream is wonderful when you want minimal makeup and I think it is the best for summer weather.

I’d highly recommend using CC and/or BB Creams for summer as they’re well designed to cope with the heat, melt-proof and all contain SPF, some as high as an SPF50

I especially love Clinique’s CC Cream, it’s an exceptional product and it has a decent SPF of 30.

I notice Lancome is bringing out a new CC Cream with an SPF of 50, it’s being released later this month

The Cancer Council BB Creme SPF30 is excellent – it’s buildable and when I put a little extra where I want more coverage it really has a high coverage. When I apply it only once it has medium coverage – which is great for most of my face but I usually apply a second layer just under my eyes to cover any dark circles etc. Hope this helps.

Estée Lauder Doublewear. But don’t rely on your foundation for SPF, if you put on enough foundation to give actual SPF protection, you’d have to use a teaspoon full for your face and neck. We truly do all need a layer of proper SPF a underneath.
