Red Lippy

I love the Australis velourlip in Ny-cee, it’s a liquid to matte bright red lip cream which lasts all day and is a similar shade to MAC’s Ruby Woo (in my opinion). Best thing is, it’s only $10!

I don’t like wearing red lipstick but Max Factor lipfinity lipsticks are really great. I use this one daily and it has good staying power. There are lots of colours so I’m sure there’s a good red one amongst them.

Dior has a nice red. $50 a pop though. For that price, I would hope it wouldn’t melt in my bag on a hot day.

I have so many that I love. I’d prob go a matte finish for longevity for a real red red I really like:
Illamasqua in Liable or loreal exlusive reds in Doutzens pure red.

I don’t have a matte red lipstick, but I have a sheer red one that is becoming my favourite, because it’s easy to apply, pigmented, and forgiving on dry lips. It’s the NP Set Brights in Marseilles. I think they have a matte red shade if you want to give the range a try =)

I love maybelline’s velvet lip crayons. I have red essential which is a darker red but you might like light it up which is more similar to the pic. They are matte but creamy, very comfortable to wear and long lasting. Pus, you don’t need a separate lip pencil. A lot of people like MAC and Russian Red is a beautiful classic shade but it transfers onto everything and I always worry about it smudging. For a good red lip pencil I like australis lady in red which is very similar in tone to MAC Cherry, or NYX have a few good red lip liners.
