I like face of australia HD primer in the aqua tube, but if you can get hold of the rimmel professional primer which has blue writing and is not available in australia, that is one of the best for dry skin.

You can’t go past Becca Line & Pore Corrector. So cheap and so good! I have fairly oil skin and have found that it helps my skin stay moisturised without appearing oily.

Thanks ladies!! I now have a great range to choose from : ) i wish that primers would state their skin type though, i felt like i was drowning for a minute.

A really good primer is the Face of Australia 3 in 1 primer. It’s a moisturiser, sunscreen and primer which means it definitely helps with dryness! The Revlon photoready primer is also amazing!

I have normal to dry skin and the primer that I love is the Rimmel lasting finish primer. It retails for about $14 but Chemist Warehouse and supermarkets often have 50% off so I stock up when it’s $7 a tube.

I find that it provided a perfect base for my foundation, blurs and hides pores and makes my foundation last all day. I have used the Benefit Poreprofesssional, Bourjous flower primer, Laura Mercier primer and the FOA primer and I much prefer the Rimmel one and it’s cheap!!

I applied for that awhile ago to get the primer but i ended up with the cc cream that my mum loves. I will email them if the primer i got today doesnt work out. I was desperate so i picked up a nice looking elf one at kmart, apparantly it doesnt have much in it from the review i read. And i dont think i would stick with it as i hate running out. Keep posting reccomendations guys i need them : )

I recently tried a Klara cosmetics sample of their pore minimising primer. It was a sachet so I only got a couple of days out of it but it did seem quite moisturising and silky. Maybe contact them to see if they’re still giving out samples so you can try it out first?
