online cosmetic shopping

hey, beautiful people of beauty heaven.
So Australia is expensive for basically just about anything!! Makeup in particular. Just wondering if any of you have any websites (that ship to Australia) that you recommend for cheap, affordable makeup. I would love to stock up on Revlon, L’Oreal, maybelline and basically anything recommend! would love to try some american brand makeup 🙂

You’re all wonderful! Thank you for these links! As an American expat, it’s hard to get used to cosmetics prices here & I often find myself deciding to wait a couple of months for the next package from my mom & sister than to shell out for cosmetics here (they’re usually 2 to 3 times the cost in the US – quite literally). It’s not worth it to get them to send anything specifically because then they pay the shipping cost & by then it would’ve been cheaper to buy it here. Now I know how I can get the things I need without having to wait months at a time!

Agreed with OzSale^ They usually have pretty decent prices for some Maybelline, L’oreal Revlon etc though much of their stuff is old stock.

Also if you’re in Melbourne there’s the ‘Heat Warehouse Sale’ run by the heat group. They have really cheap Bourjois (Foundations are $5 from $32!) as well as Max Factor, Essence, Covergirl etc.

The Priceline sale did just happen for 40% off all makeup but they do it twice a year, I think the next one is around March.

Also ASOS sells Rimmell and Bourjois cheaper than it is sold here.

Wow, I haven’t heard of Heat Warehouse Sale but it sounds really good.. I need to look into this 😀

I also agree with ASOS. They don’t have a huge range of cosmetics but the cosmetics they do sell are pretty heavily discounted, particularly Bourjois. I love Bourjois!

They happen a few times a year, if you like the ‘Heat Group’ on facebook they create an event when it’s happening. Next one is December 5th 🙂 I’d go but I’ve already stocked up and got back ups of everything I need, plus the Priceline sale just did some damage. Highly recommend it though!

*Kylie*, brands such as Maybelline and Revlon are often on sale in Australia. Priceline just had a 40% off sale. If you sign up to receive emails from ozsale.com.au, they often have discounts on L’oreal, Maybelline etc. There is an online store called glossi.com.au that sells discontinued stock from these brands.

For brands such as Milani and Wet N Wild, you can shop at US sites such as Brigette’s Boutique, Nonpareil Boutique, Cherry Culture and Beauty Joint. There are apparently some reputable sellers on ebay. I haven’t bought from these US sites because once I factored in postage, it wasn’t worth it for me. In Australia, you can buy these brands from Crush Cosmetics and Lipstick Republic.

    Thanks for this x

    Benefit.com
So much cheaper to buy from the US then Oz. I just stocked up and they have also have freebies/samples with every order. If you spend enough shipping is free. Their Xmas packs are awesome value too.

    Asos.com
Free shipping and they always have sales. They also sell brands that can be harder to get in oz such illamasqua.

Mumgo.com.au has all the same stuff as catch of the day but it targeted at women/mums. Often have revlon/loreal sales.

Ozsale.com.au are good but I find the stuff I want is often sold out.

I have recently discovered this website http://www.ry.com.au/ for Beauty and Hair Products, was wondering has anyone purchased from here before? Also has anyone used The Balm products?

I haven’t used ry.com.au, but from all the positive feedback seems like I may have to check it out 🙂

I have that palette (‘Nude Tude’) from the Balm as well as the ‘Meet Matte’ palette. I’m extremely impressed with both and would highly recommend the brand if you’re considering giving some of its products a go.
