I have been using the serum since it came out ,, really likes it and it really works!!

  • 9 yrs, 6 mths ago

I have posted my bb cream review but still using the serum and moisturiser, the primer type product I will likely review tomorrow.

Is it likely that BH will want the other BB cream returned? I never opened it because light was a perfect match for my tone and I definitely don’t want it to go to waste. I was thinking of giving it to a friend if it’s not necessary to return it..

Just completed my four reviews and the survey.
Over all I was….and am still….happy with the products. I will keep on using them until they are empty. The BB Cream was my absolute fave!! 😀
So sorry Zaralis that the products didn’t work very well for you 🙁 I remember how excited you were too when you got the invite. xxx

    Hi Zaralis,
I do have a bit of issue with the pilling as well and I’m 99% sure it’s because of the Instant Blur product. At uni, I often wear the BB cream alone and I’ve even worn it to work without an issue.
I normally give it about a minute or two to sink in and then carry on.
To minimise the pilling effect I just use the absolute bare minimum to cover my T-zone area which is almost nothing at all and instead of rubbing, I try to pat it in, including the BB cream.
    This often helps.
    Hopefully it helps you out!

I found patting it in reduces the balling up too Rei_ but it’s way too time consuming for me, I’ve been trying to make it work for my ‘fast’ routine but that always leads to me needing to wash it off and start over, then I’m in such a rush that I use my usual stuff because I know I can make it work in 15 minutes or less haha.

I’ve only managed to wear these products out on one day and even then I noticed in the car mirror that I had little balls of product on my face.. Not good.

What order do you put the products?

serum, moisturiser, blurring cream where I need it and then bb cream.

Oh really. That is the same as me and I don’t have any balling up of product 🙁

Before I started using the products I read the instructions from BH and on the boxes, and the blurring cream is best on the T zone and the size of a grain of rice in each area. Maybe that may help?? Initially my skin took a little bit of getting used to the products, but a week and a half in and I really like it. Maybe you could try removing one of the products and see if that is causing the issue??

I have used all of the products separately and found that is the only way I can incorporate them in to my routine.

The serum I use at night, the moisturiser during the day, the blurring cream I use when I’m using my usual moisturiser and makeup and the bb cream I use on it’s own with no moisturiser.

I have no idea why the products ball up on my skin, it doesn’t seem to be an issue for any of the other girls trialing the products so I’m stumped!

Oh no you poor bugger. That is a bummer. 🙁
