I’m not on the trial team, but I bought two at Priceline a few days ago, Ruby Opera and Tangerine Sonate. I love bold lip colours and it looks great. Although after a couple of hours I find it settling into the lines of my lips if I only apply one thin layer (and I don’t even have wrinkly lips to start with!) Do you have this problem?

Stackcats, I can see how this lipgloss might settle in lines. As you can see from my comments and review I wasn’t overly wrapped in it, but perhaps you should persist and try wearing a second coat or wear it over or mixed with another lip product.

Thanks cat lover. I did read the reviews (both BH and other online ones) and this thread before buying them. To be honest, I didn’t know what to expect. Even the reviews published on BH are quite polarised. I’m glad I got them very cheap (Priceline has a 30% off sale and I used a coupon that came with my Priceline payback voucher), but I definitely wouldn’t pay full price for these (especially they’re normally under 10 dollars a pop in the US)

I was just looking at the colour selection online Trish and Molto Mauve looks a lot more mauve than it is in reality. It’s more of a dusk pink IMO. There look to be some other lovely daytime colours there too. I like the look of the three rose shades.

Thanks for that, cat lover – the rose shades do look lovely. I also love anything dusky pink – in anything – I could imagine your Grandmother with dusky pink cosmetics and/or clothes, cat lover?

Oh wow!! I can’t believe you picked up on that Trish! Are you psychic?? I have a set of her pillow cases that I use all the time in, you guessed it, dusky pink. She dusky pink lipstick in her casket, but that was chosen by the funeral director. She really liked quite vivid lipstick, which I regret not giving them to prepare her. They made me feel OTT as it was because I gave them stocking and underwear:/

I can so relate to you giving the funeral director stockings and underwear for your Grandmother, cat lover – to me, it is completely “normal” and as your darling Grandmother always wore them in life, she’d want to be wearing them when she departed this world. She’d be perfectly happy and understanding about the lipstick, I’m sure.

Haha! No, I think she’d be grumpy about the lipstick Trish. She was a pretty grumpy little lady a lot of the time, but I loved her just the same;) As for the underwear, I hope to hell someone puts undies on me before they bury me!! I know it sounds stupid, but I hate the thought of being buried ‘commando’.

Oh, I love this, cat lover – I can see the angels racing about getting a “proper lipstick” for your Grandmother!!! How I agree with you about the underwear!!! Off topic, but thank you so much for your lovely thoughts about Chicklet and me on another thread. Hope you’re OK.

I’ve used my lippie twice now and I have to say that I’m really disappointed. On both occasions it bled like crazy. Are any of you ladies experiencing this also?

Not a problem I’ve noticed but by the time I get to a mirror after being at work for a while most of it’s worn off from drinking coffee just leaving a shine, also it’s not an overly obvious shade on me. I do like how moisturising it is though.

Yes, it is very moisturising Stay C, and I noticed that there are some really nice ingredients included. I might try wearing it tomorrow (at home!) without a lip liner and see how it goes. Thank goodness I saw myself in a mirror before I went out with a client today. I would have looked like a real goose with all those bleeding lines!

Because the colour isn’t too obvious on me I’ve used it over a couple of lip stains which works really well because it’s so moisturising.

I’ve used it over lipstick and with a lip liner and it bled both times. Today I used it alone and it was fine….not sure why the lip liner made it bleed. I really do love the colour and think it’s perfect for daytime wear on my skin tone.

Maybe the fact that it is as moisturising as it is is the reason it bled? Hate lipstick that bleeds but it’s weird that it was OK without lipliner. The shades sound good and wearable and it’s good to get recommendations for good daytime colours.
