Lip Oils?

Anyone here tried lip oils? I keep hearing things about them – they’re mega-pricy but I love the idea of a super-moisturising tint that is oil based and natural. They’re pretty expensive though, so I’d love to hear from anyone who knows something about them. The Yves Saint Laurent Volupté Tint-in-Oil sounds incredible, and Clarins and Mecca have them too. Would love to hear what you think, Beauties, especially if you’ve actually had a go.

I have the Josie Maran Lip and Cheek oil and it’s not too pricey (somewhere around $22) I love it but its lasting power isn’t the best. I find myself using it on my cheeks more than my lips especially because to reapply requires me to use my fingers which I don’t like to do in public. That being said I would buy it again in a heart beat.

There’s so expensive from what I’ve seen. I wouldn’t bother a good lip balm will do the same.

I’ve tried the YSL Volupte Tint-In-Oil, but to be honest, I couldn’t justify the paying that much. It is super-moisturising but there’s not much of a colour that comes through, and I do like lip products with enough tint that shows.

I shop at Mecca regularly, so I would be interested to see what they have 🙂
