Japanese and Korean, etc brands

I thought we needed a topic on some of the amazing Asian brands out there, as a lot of them don’t get marketed towards us, so we don’t get to hear too much about them here despite being so close geographically.
Today I swapped some shadows with a friend after she showed me a jill stuart palette she bought OS but hadn’t used and asked if I wanted to swap anything for it. It’s the same as this one, crystal ruby 01: http://www.makeupandlife.com/2010/04/jill-stuart-jewel-crystal-cosmetics.html
I so looove it and have noticed that I’m now really leaning more towards asian beauty brands after seeing some of the stuff this friend has as not only do a lot of them have such cute packaging, but the quality is amazing.
I was wondering what would be some recommendations, and what are your faves?

In perth there is SKin Nourish wholesaler and distributor for Korean brands Purederm , Skinlite and Bariness. They range from face masks, foot masks , eye masks. They have a page on Facebook . L love their Grape yorghurt masks it does soften and l saw a difference in my face it was peeling before but after using the mask l did not need to over moisturise my skin to cover up the peeling patches on my face.

oh and dejavu fiberwig is the best mascara! literally, “paint on falsies”

I can vouch for Deja Vu Fibrewig too. I bought it a month or so ago and it makes my lashes look so long, like the kind you would see on a doll!
Loving Shu Uemura’s cleansing oil right now, my makeup (even stubborn eye makeup) just slides right off.

There’s a brand in HK called SaSa I think and they sell good makeup for the price! I’m in love with Missha, they have the best nail polish removers – I’m currently using their peach scented one!

The Face Shop is a Korean brand that you can buy in Australia (I know there’s a store in Adelaide and I think there should be some in Sydney etc.). The price is affordable and quality is also good… they have BB creams and a lot of moisturizers, nail polishes..

Tony Moly is a nice brand for creams 😀 And they have cute packaging as well 🙂

Jill Stuart isn’t an Asian brand, but it’s so famous in Japan! I was given the jill stuart sunscreen, the one bought from Japan, and it had the prettiest packaging, even the little paper bag it came in was pretty!

When i went to hong kong the beginning of this year i found the BB creams were too light for my skin despite being asian! But the makeup i’ve bought are so cute!

Especially the mini blush with the mirror i love that one 🙂

This is my opinion but i find the missha makeup isn’t the same as the ones you buy from asia. I find the quality of their makeup on the okay side.

And the shu umera eyelash curler is super cheap in hong kong!!

Karynjay I love the mascara, it’s so so cute. Sometimes I love to buy products just for their packaging….

By the way, the shills one I have added to my swap list if anyone is interested. I would reccomed for normal or dry skin. I’ve only swatched once on my hand to test it out.
