In love with Josie Maran’s makeup!

About a month ago I bought Josie Maran’s Coconut Water Cheek Gelee as a changeup to my usual cheek stain… it was love at first application. I now have one of her lip and cheek oils and as of today her illuminator. Every single one is gorgeous, wearable and I think I’m addicted!

The best thing is that since in winter my daytime makeup tends to be powder product free (minimal eyeshadows, no face powder, cream blushes) her entire range is like it was MADE for me. The brand also has a really great conscience behind it… and here’s the best part… a lot of their products are less than $30! What else can you get from Mecca under $30?

Their whole thing is that everything is Argan infused which I know is the ingredient of the moment but to me it’s much more important that everything works well, sits beautifully on my skin and is fun to use.

After all that I pretty much sound like their publicist, which I can assure you I’m not. Just wanted to share the love on an amazing brand.

Anyone else tried their products? What should my next splurge be?

I bought her vibrancy foundation at Mecca this week. It comes in a gorgeous bottle. I admittedly paid $66 just for the bottle. I plan on refilling it. My foundations are usually much cheaper than that. The most I’ve ever paid is $31. I like the foundation, the consistency, the colour is perfect…though, I get the same results from cheaper brands, the bottle was too gorgeous to resist.

It’s great to hear feedback on the Josie Maran’s Coconut Water Cheek Gelee. I was Googling swatches on them a while ago as I’m looking for a cool-based pink blush that’s very subtle on my pale skin. The Cheek Gelee sounds lovely.

I have only one thing from the brand and love it to bits! It is the coconut water eyeshadow in Bora Bora Bronze. It is a stunning metallic dark bronze! It is a bit tricky to apply but once you get the hang of it, it is the perfect eyeshadow.

I have been tempted by the miniature water colour blush pots for $16! How cute are they! I wouldn’t have much use for it though.
