I need a concealer quickly! and I need some advice!

I tend to get dry under eyes even when I put moisturiser under the concealer I use (maybelline age rewind) it seems to make my under eyes look flaky and gross!
I need one that is moisturising and I need it very soon as I don’t have any concealer to use! Please recommend me some and I need it to be cheap! Like at least less then $40!
thank you beauties

also how do you set your concealer? I wear glasses as well so they can’t be sticking!

Try putting on an under eye primer, then use a creamy concealer but instead of just rubbing it under your eyes, draw a triangle and blend down the face to prevent from caking. Set with a light setting powder (too much will cause the flakiness)

for my under eyes I use rimmel wake me up concealer in Ivory if I want and intense highlight and classic beige if I want it to be a bit more natural, as for blemishes I use the maybelline fit me Concealer, a tip for anyone who gets big blemishes and wants to cover them all day:apply concealer over foundation over the blemish, pat it in with a concealer brush then blend it out with a fluffier brush, then apply some mineral pressed powder ( I use the nude by nature one) then repeat these steps, I found this to prolong and increase he coverage on the blemish. As for setting the under eye, I use either a yellow toned powder to cancel out the blue and purple tones or a translucent loose powder if again I want a more natural look. hope this helped 🙂

Benefit Fake Up Concealer is perfect for under the eyes! It’s ridiculously creamy and its in stick form (but doesn’t drag) so you just swipe it under the eyes and pat it in, so simple!

How do you set your concealer? do you have a technique ?

I use a Revlon one, it’s creamy and easy to blend. It blends perfectly with my foundation, I use a beauty blender as I found it works better than brush for me. I don’t have any problems after applying a setting powder. I think it was around $25-$30.

I really like Maybelline Fit Me concealer. It’s light weight, which for me means it doesn’t sit in fine lines or look too cakey. I’m 43 so I’m really mindful of anything that draws attention to my eyes for the wrong reasons. Read the reviews on here. The best thing is it’s available everywhere and if you pay full price and find out you hate it, then you’ve only lost $14.95. It’s currently 1/2 price at Chemist Warehouse.

P.S . Age Rewind doesn’t work for me either. I have BeneFit’s Erase Paste and heaven knows I LOVE BeneFit products, however I find the Erase Paste creases a lot and can be hard to set with powder. When I use it, I have to be really cautious about how much I use (tiny, tiny amount).

I would recommend getting one with a creamy consistency. It works on my dry skin. The best is probably Mac Studio Fix in the little pot or one of the Benefit ones – I think Erase Paste is best under the eyes. I believe both of these are somewhere around $40.

If you want to go cheaper then Nyx has a creamy concealer that is much cheaper (I think around 12?) but it doesn’t come in very many shades – maybe 3 or 4 so it’s harder to get a match.

The important thing with using cream concealers like this is to apply powder to them with something like a big fluffy eyeshadow brush in order to set them.

    Hope that helps!
