how much skin care products do you apply?

I am curious to know how much or little skin care products do you apply in the morning before you finally put on your foundation/powder, and how does your skin look and feel?? I work around flight attendant’s and I am amazed at 5am how glowing and gorgeous their skin and makeup look and wonder what their before make up routine is?

I cleanse in he morning, no moisturiser for me as i have oily skin!
Then moisturiser, eye cream and lip balm in the evening after cleansing and toning 🙂

In the morning I cleanse with the Etude House Happy Tea Time Cleansing cream, and then apply sunscreen! Sunscreen is a must!

My evening routine has a lot more to make up for me not being a morning person, haha!

Morning – cleanse with water only, BHA, moisturiser, sunscreen.
Evening – remove makeup with oil, cleanse, AHA, moisturiser, eye cream, spot treatment

I use Biore Steam Activated Cleanser, Nivea Toner, Benzac AC Gel, Nivea Day Cream, Arbonne Primer, Nude By Nature Light Power and Maybelline Matte Maker Powder. Plus every other day I use Silk Laser gel and body scrub on my face.

And at night I use the Body Shop Aloe Night Cream.

It has improved my skin but it still doesn’t quite combat the oiliness on my nose. It still goes quite shiny and slippery after a few hours.

I wish I could apply moisturiser and SPF in the morning but my skin would get SO oily if I did. I use primer and then a BB cream with SPF added (BB creams are a godsend!). I save the intensive moisturising for the evening.

I was a flight attendant on private jet so no early morning departures. I always drank at least 1 litre of water prior to take off. Cleansed and toned. It was so long ago I honestly can’t remember the brand but it probably was something like Avon. Used a babyoil and then a very light foundation, no powder and just mascara and eyeliner. At end of flight as soon as passengers disembarked always removed makeup completely using castor oil and just washed face with water followed by toner. Applied tiny dab of babyoil.
Now at 70 I use Monsia Skincare but I still use castor oil to remove makeup and on days when I do not use makeup I just use the Monsia cleanser & toner. This product suits my skin so I am sticking to it.

Agree with darceyb. The less products used the better

I cleanse twice a day, use a toning mist and then a day cream/or night cream. I use all natural products (Sukin) and I find that doing less to your face is actually better 🙂

Morning – I cleanse, tone, use eye cream, moisturise and day cream (if I can be bothered). Some days I’ll add a product that is for sun protection. Either invisible zinc or sunscreen. I use a body moisturiser too on my legs and arms.

Night – I clean, tone, use Paula’s Choice BHA exfoliant, night eye cream, moisturise and pop on a night cream. I also use a growth serum for eyebrows. Damn. No wonder I’ve been naughty this last week and not gone through my nightly routine.

Thank you all for your feedback on your daily routine
