How much is to much when it comes to brows?

So I am in the middle of a debate with a girlfriend about brow make up. I say that putting on enough make up to enhance the brow slightly but not ott is the way to go and she is a firm believer in the caterpillar look. What do you guys think?

So I have an update on my mother and her brow situation. My hubby and I dropped into my parent’s place early last night prior to going to my niece’s birthday party.

We were making salads and I said to my mother “oh, I have something for you” and gave her a bunch of skin moisturiser samples (she got very excited about that). Then I said “I noticed you’ve started to use brow pencil but I noticed you’re going a bit dark. I went and bought a pencil that’s too light for me and I think it might work better on you than what you’re currently using.” I received a bit of side eye for that one.

An hour later, my mum had new brows.

    Woot woot!

    TUD x

I like when they are natural and not filled in in every gap there is between the hairs. Fill in where there is a big patch missing. I love the look of feathered eyebrows where they are full but you can still see where the hair is. (search feathered eyebrows on google)

I’ve just gone and bought another brow product. I have an addiction!

I agree with you ladies that the way we do our brows or our whole face of makeup boils down to personal preference. I have a love/hate relationship with my brows but I try to work with them to make them look as good they possibly can. I hate to admit it but I have bad brow days :/

For me, daytime is subtle, night time is entirely dependent upon the look I am doing for that outing. If I’m doing dramatic eyes, it’s usually dramatic brows.

I prefer the subtle look when it comes to enhancing eyebrows. I think it just comes down to personal preference, what your natural eyebrows look like, face shape, how you apply your makeup and the colour of your hair.

I think that sometimes I go overboard with eyebrow makeup and my brows look extremely thick, some people find it attractive and some don’t. Honestly it is just based on individual preference and if they are happy to do whatever makes them look and feel good!

My mother is the same Tud, and will react if she thinks someone is pushing her ( probably psychological from past events ) , so just be careful then . Good to have your s/dad support too .

Maybe your mum couldn’t tell unless you actually told her Tud. You may want to ask her first before buying the kit in case she refuses to use it. Good daughter 🙂

A lot of Asian women like to have it thin like a pencil shape. Its just their preference , but hair protect the eyes so we shouldn’t over do them anyway
