Holy Grail Drugstore Products

Hey Guys,
I want to try out some new drug store products and was wondering what some of your holy grail items were? Would prefer if they were products that could be easily accessed in Australia so things from places such as priceline 🙂

Why are Australians now using the term *drugstore product*? In Australia, we have chemists or pharmacies, not drugstores. I’m just curious.

I used to use the term salon, supermarket and department store brands.
Now Priceline and the Internet make those somewhat redundant.
I like ‘mass market’, ‘prestige’, ‘specialist’ which make products for a specific area and ‘therapist’ which are used in beauty salons etc.
American cultural dominance has led to ‘drugstore’ being widely understood, even in the UK where they use the term ‘high street’.
As with all things your mileage may vary.

I don’t think I could narrow it down to just 1 product. 😛 These are my loves:
    – Indeed Labs Hydraluron
    – Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme
    – Revlon Colorstay Foundation (the normal/oily one)
    – Real Techniques brushes
    – BIODERMA Créaline H20
    – Batiste Dry Shampoo

I am a big fan of Revlon and Rimmel. I have got to stay out of priceline for a while, it is dangerous!

Revlon foundations, Face of Australia liquid eyeliner and Rimmel lippies would be some of my drugstore faves 🙂

    Hi there
Anyone know where I can get a free makeup consultation either Thursday night or on the week end in Perth (eastern suburbs)? Priceline only offer them between 9am and 5pm M-F. I’d prefer somewhere where there is a choice of products, not just one brand.
    Thanks in advance

Hi Cathy929 Priceline should have makeup artist working on the weekend I know in the suburbs of sydney all makeup artist that work in priceline need to work on the weekends and thursday nights. Check around at some other priceline stores.

We’ve been watching too many America YouTube videos lol

But I do agree, it’s strange we call it that when we only have chemists/pharmacies

I don’t mind calling them drugstore products. Otherwise, would we call them pharmacy products? Lol.

I refer to them as Priceline Brands…obviously some brands are sold in DJs or supermarkets, but as soon as I say Priceline people get what price range / which brands

Yup same, I say Priceline brands. Priceline is akin to drugstore anyway… It’s the same price range and people instantly understand ‘drugstore’. We are definitely becoming more Americanised in that aspect! Haha.

In saying that, I love that Priceline is stocking Nuxe products. Anything Nuxe is my HG product!! Especially the Huile Prodigieuse. I could not live without it now, and I have even gotten my Mum onto it.

… I just wish I could get my hands on the Huile Prodigieuse perfume… I can only imagine how perfect it’d smell!! 🙂
