Healthy, good for you foundation

Hi ladies

I am in the market for a new foundation but I’m looking for a very natural, organic (perhaps), cruelty-free and vitamin- rich foundation. I’m looking for medium coverage.

Does anybody have any recommendations? I’ve considered Inika and Ere Perez but haven’t tried them. Would anybody have any suggestions?

Another vote for Arbonne. I used to wear Napolean/Mac foundation on my skin everyday until I realised that damage I was doing. I heard about Arbonne and I think it’s a great ‘weekday’ foundation. I apply it with a beauty blender and it feels super light on my skin. I am always worried about my uneven skin tone…but this foundation covers it really well 🙂 hope this helps!

  • I am just about to post a review on the Arbonne liquid foundation.

Arboone is Certified vegan, Gluten free, Botanically based, PeTa stamped.
Also does not contain mineral oil, dyes, waxes, acetone, parabens, animal by-products, chemical fragrances,

Mel, can you please do me a favour in your Arbonne liquid foundation review? Can you say whether they have a shade suitable for pale skin? I always pick the palest shade in a company’s range which is usually a bit dark or even slightly orange. To give you an indication of how pale I am; in MAC, their palest Studio Sculpt is still a bit dark (although the MAC sales assistants insist that it isn’t).

I also would appreciate knowing the full ingredients of the Arbonne foundation. Their website doesn’t list any ingredients. If I’m going to buy a foundation that claims to be natural (which is my preference), I want to know that it doesn’t contain ingredients such as propylene glycol etc. Otherwise, I’ll just buy a department store foundation.

I have the pale shade in my kit I will take a photo tomorrow in direct sunlight.

As for ingredients here is the list:

First photo the continues on the next photo.

Pretty much all Youngblood Mineral foundation, i personally love the loose foundation but its a matter of personal preference. They are a cruelty free natural cosmetic company that create natural products formulated to be non-irritating to even the most sensitive skin.

You can try Korres foundation, its an organic product. They have 2 kind of foundations – Wild Rose foundation and Pomegranate Foundation.
Wild Rose Foundation – a natural source of vitamin C, works to repair fine lines and brighten uneven skin tone.
Pomegranate Foundation – has SPF 15, matte finish. Pomegranate extract tightens the pores and rejuvenates the skin. Perfect for oily to combination skin. I use this one for my casual going out. it gives me medium coverage.

DERMABLEND! Full, even coverage, long lasting, SPF 15, matte. I stress this product is amazing and under rated!

I’ve used Inika’s liquid foundation and it was good. Although it does have a strong essential oil scent, which u do get used to quickly. Their powder foundation is fantastic in my opinion, I use it pretty much every single day.
Youngblood do a nice mineral powder foundation, I haven’t tried their liquid yet as I’ve sort of converted to powder since using Inika.
