Foundation recommendations for oily skin

I have a few fave foundations but just wanted to get other people’s opinions and test some more products out for myself 🙂

I just tried the essence soft touch mousse makeup. It has a matte finish, and keeps your face dry. It’s cream to powder, and it lasts a long time. I have normal skin and it actually makes me look dry. Maybe you can try it? =) it’s not too expensive either.

I really struggle with oily skin :(. I find that BB cream followed by Nude by Nature mineral powder really helps control the shine.

Yeah that makes a really big difference for me – I’ve used a couple of different primers and they both make my make-up last so much longer. Even by the end of the day the make-up is still fresh looking.

I think for oily skin the foundation is less important and moreso what you set with and prime with!

L’Oreal Infallible is great for my oily skin in the T-zone but also for everywhere else. It’s a bit of an ‘equalizer’! I love that it doesn’t rub off during the day at all. With primer underneath it’s like the supergirl of foundations as far as staying put. It’s not a bad price either.

I’m currently loving the Avon CC cream foundation though because it’s got spf30+ in it and I really need an outdoorsy type of one to wear every single day because I am on the beach every single day. I also love the colour of this on my warm medium skin tone. It looks natural on but has quite impressive coverage for a CC cream! I wish it was on Bh so I could review it!! ; )

I’ve tried quite a few different long wear foundations for oily skin but my all time favourite that has never failed me is Revlon Colorstay, I just prefer the finish of it on my skin better and it lasts the longest.
