Do you have a beauty question?

Hi beauties,

Do you have a beauty question that you’d absolutely LOVE to ask an expert?

Well, if you post it in this forum thread, we’re going to do our best to have it answered for you by some of the industry’s leading make-up artists, hair stylists, dermatologists, nutritionists, dentists – you name it!

It can be anything from “What’s the best way to pop a pimple?”, to “How can I nail a winged eyeliner every time?”

There’s no question too easy or too hard, so ask away if you’d like an expert answer!

Not sure if this is a dark hair problem or even my hair type, but after I wash and style my hair, I feel like sometimes it attracts a lot of dust! Are there any specific products or hair tools that can help with this.

What can I do to reduce dark circles under my eyes and puffiness. I’ve tried so many creams and remedies and nothing helps. I’m thinking maybe it’s just hereditary and nothing will help?

What ingredients should you look for in products to improve skin pigmentation. I’ve tried many different products but nothing really seems to help. I think my pigmentation is caused mainly by the pill and sun exposure. I’ve heard Vitamin C and Vitamin A are meant to be beneficial?

We’re all focused on how to look after our ageing skin, but what about young skin? My daughter is approaching her teens and I want to set her up with a good skin care routine now so she’s not playing catch-up in her late thirties, like I am. How do I do that? What should every young girl’s BASIC skincare routine look like?

Why does our skin start to become dull, uneven, tired looking etc with baggy eyes and redness as we pass childhood? Kids seem to have perfect plump and bright skin, and as soon as we progress to teenage and adulthood, it all goes down hill.

With the recent hype of switching to organic and natural products, what do we really have to fear with chemicals in beauty products? How harmful are they and what are the chemicals (if any) that we should really be sticking clear of?

I’ve been interested in IPL for a little while, but have heard that hair grows back during pregnancy. I’m in my early twenties and my ideal childbearing age is within the next lot of years or so – should I wait until after I’ve had kids or is it just a myth (IPL is too expensive to go through twice!)

I was watching a segment on The Checkout a while back about what will really work and what is a load of crap when it comes to buying skincare.

Although a very humorous way of presenting it, I found it really interesting and wanted to know if what the TV show was reporting was really true. I’ve left a link of it below. (For anyone else, I’d recommend watching it! :))
