I was also looking at the Too Faced primer but the Becca Poreless Priming Perfector sounds good. I quite like the matte look though.

I just remembered another silicone-free primer by PÜR Minerals. I looked at the ingredients and it contains alcohol and salicylic acid, so it is more suitable for breakout-prone skin:

Thanks Petal for your recommendations! I’ve been using the Becca Poreless Priming Perfector and loving it but it’s just a bit on the pricey side for me and I’m not a huge fan of the matte primers. I’m definitely going to have a look at the Too Faced primer as it’s a little bit more affordable and the packaging is just adorable.

I have quite a few primers to use up and, when looking at them the other day, every single one contains silicones. I was wondering if there were any without so you’ve answered my query. I don’t react to silicones at all but still feel I shouldn’t be putting it on my face each day.

I especially like the sound of the Too Faced one as the reviews say it’s good for dry skin (like mine) so it’s going on my Mecca wishlist. 🙂
