Best mascara for asian lashes

Hi beauties!

I am interested in replacing my covergirl lash blast in waterproof with a new mascara brand. I find that this one is quite hard to remove, is clumpy and flakes. I am hoping to find one that doesn’t do these things for me. A mascara that is suitable for my asian lashes- that volumises, curls and creates a bold and thick look.

I have got a lot of lashes- they are not sparse and they are stick straight, but not hard to curl.

Thanks,

Meredith 🙂

Hi beauties, feel wierd posting as I haven’t in ages!! anyway some of you might remember me, I’m half asian and have a huge issue with short lashes that point down atm I use any mascara I can get my hands on – I’m using Benefit they’re real? mascara with a shiseido lash curler (best curler ever) am pretty keen to get this though has anyone else used it? I’ve used a friends and it’s pretty cool – like fake lashes in a mascara http://www.makeupalley.com/product/showreview.asp/ItemId=161542/Younique-3D-Fiber-Lashes-Mascara-Set/Unlisted-Brand/Mascara i’m thinking of doing one of their online product parties – still thinking about it

MaxFactor Masterpiece Max! <3 i barely ever repurchase products but i’ve bought this like 6 times now…

I’ll also give a vote to Max Factor Masterpiece Max. I only started using it yesterday, but I can see that it’s a great mascara. I had just given up on Max Factor Clump Defy. It was one of the best mascaras I’ve tried in ages, but it stung my eyes. As I kept layering it, my lashes (which naturally point down) just got more and more perky. It was amazing.

I have short and straight eyelashes.. I havent found my HG mascara yet and i am still searching. My lashes dont hold curls at all. I love this new lash curler i bought from Koji! Its just as good as the Shiseido one.
I am planning on purchasing the Lioele Blooming Volume and Curling mascara, since I have read so many good reviews about it!

    Spam? ^

Anyway! I’m not asian but I have very straight lashes that don’t hold a curl at all and the best I’ve found and my holy grail mascara is one that’s been around for a while. It’s Maybelline’s Full N Soft waterproof mascara in the silver tube. It holds my curl well, doesn’t clump and its all thanks to the dry formula that suits my lashes and that its waterproof. Very boring packaging but a great mascara that I would recommend! good luck

I think the Kiss me heroine make long and curl mascara is brilliant at holding a curl, seriously lengthening and volumising lashes. However it smudges on me within 3 hours so too bad for that, given the hype about the smudgeproof and waterproof nature of Japanese mascaras. I don’t even have oily eyelids.

I also have used CG LB (volume waterproof) and repurchased thrice because it rarely smudged, held a curl for my straight lashes and lengthened my lashes. But the wand is so annoying to use because it’s so fat!
I highly recommend the Maybelline Colossal Volume Cat Eyes (waterproof) – the wand is small and curved in such a way that it fits the shape of my monolids extremely well, the formula is dry and allows for a curl to be held all day long, it lengthens and slightly volumises lashes and it hasn’t smudged or flaked on me yet.

My lashes are extremely straight – not hard to curl exactly, but will easily droop without a waterproof mascara! Right now I am really *loving* the Kiss me heroine long and curl mascara. I haven’t loved a mascara before until this one 🙂 A lot of people say it’s hard to remove, but I didn’t find that at all, but it might be because I’m using an oil remover~
I also somewhat like Maybelline’s colossal volum’ mascara – I’ve purchased it 3 times in the past few years, and I usually don’t purchase the same mascara more than once.

I agree!! It’s been the best mascara that I have found so far that helps retain my curl and lengthens my short fine lashes! I usually stock up on this when I am in Hong Kong or buy online if I have run out. It does tend to flake a bit for me and removal is no issue.
