bb cushions

Been researching about these. They are apparently the thing to use in Korea and in Southeast Asia. Been looking at them online, videos, reviews etc.
Wondering where to buy them here in brisbane! need to check them out and not just buy online.
Looks amazing!

I had an IOPE cushion. It’s super high spf so expect a lot of flashback. And if you’re nc30 and up, don’t even bother trying to find a bb cushion that will suit your colour. Great application and incredibly light weight on your skin, but it just doesn’t have much of a shade range.

Mirenesse have an absolutely beautiful one, its called “10” collagen cushion compact foundation… I was quite flawed the first time i used it and am still in awe … gives such a smooth look/texture, and the coverage is great, its like using a stamp pad lol, just push down to you get the liquid apply then it dries like a powder, cant rave enough about it i really love this.

They sound effective as I’m never sure that I have obtained ideal coverage and finish at 6 am in the morning using my fingertips. LOL

TVSN have one available for sale from Pur Minerals right now.
They are demoing it right now and at 5.30pm EST. It is called the air cushion foundation and is $49.50 with a blush and a brush.

Gotcha! I’m now a little excited to try these as further investigation shows that my HG BB cream (Etude House Precious Minerals) has a BB cushion variety.

I… I may be purchasing some. Watch this space haha

I’ve got the etude house precious minerals one, you will not be disappointed.
I carry mine around in my handbag for touch ups too, it’s so convenient.

    This pleases me immensely! 😀

Do they dry out fast? When I first swatched the Etude House one, it was nice but it felt like the sponge could only contain a very limited amount of bb/foundation and I’ll only get a couple of uses out of it.

I don’t know any places that sell them…but if you’re interested you can make your own bb cushion! Missha has a special compact case which allows you to put in your own liquid bbs or foundies to DIY your own special version of bb cushion 🙂

You can probably get the case off ebay – I haven’t tried it myself, but I’m tempted lol.

Edit: A’pieu has one too – with girlie pink packaging <3

For anyone interested, here’s a pic of what most bb cushions look like – this one is the one I have. It comes packaged in a plastic compact, and in it is a bb cream liquid soaked sponge. The puff is a latex type material, so it doesn’t absorb as much product as regular makeup sponges.
