Bareminerals Bareskin Pure Brightening Foundation and Brush

So I’ve been eyeing this off for a while, the foundation sounds really nice and I love the concept of the brush but has anyone tried it?

I’m a long way from a Mecca store and was considering buying online but have no idea what shade I’d be, thought I might email the company for some advice on choosing my colour.

I saw this too and was curious, especially about the brush but the closest Mecca for me is about 400kms away. I’m quite fair, so usually just pick the lightest shade in most brands but I think I will wait until my next city trip to check it out.
I wish you could order samples for some of the stuff Mecca offers. I would happily pay a few dollars to make sure I got exactly the right product rather than drop money on full producta and be disappointed.

I don’t use bare mineral foundation but I’ve used l’oreal and revlon mineral foundation for a long time. (I use a BB cream and then just a light dust of mineral foundation with a concealer).

These foundations are quite good but I still haven’t found one that I’m 100% happy with. I think bare mineral and nude are supposed to be two of the best brands for this kind of foundation and they work out better value if you buy a starter kit. If anybody has tried these it would be good to know thoughts as I’m considering switching to bare minerals too.

I think you’ll find that whichever foundation you normally use will match the colour of mineral. I always go for a medium or if there’s a light-medium go for that to be safe (if you’re fair skinned!).
