Urban Decay coming to Mecca

Out of all the Vice lipsticks on the app I think there’s about 70 on my wish list!! I’m going to have to start crossing some of the similar/boring shades off the list and stick to the fun ones – there’s a few colours that surprised me, that’s for sure. Some not in a good way though lol. Orange and I will never be friends. Thanks for all your lovely words girls 🙂

Urban Decay recently overhauled their lipstick line and launched “100 new shades of lipstick” (some of them are old shades but new packaging but that’s not important right now…). I’m not sure when this new range will come to Australia but hopefully soon! It probably explains why Mecca never got the full Revolution range, only the sheers.

Anyway…. Urban Decay have released an app where you can upload a selfie and try on all 100 lipstick shades, and save the ones you like by giving them a thumbs up. You can save multiple sessions too. It’s a bit of fun and a cute way to see yourself in some unusual lipstick shades! I found out I look OK in blue but super hideous in orange…
I think it’s only for Apple at this stage, just search Urban Decay Vice in the app store. I thought some of you might enjoy it 🙂

Do you do eye tutorials?

I Have been looking at naked 3 palette tutorial videos, having so much fun with my palette 🙂
I took my basic 2 to work yesterday and just as well I did, i forgot my brow powder so i just used one of the colours in the basic 2 palette 😀

I haven’t done any makeup tutorials, but now that you mention, I’d like to start doing some. I do love experimenting with makeup, so it would fun making videos.

As for the sachets, you do get a fair bit out of them. It was actually quite a lot more than I thought it would be.

It said on the pack you should get a week worth out of each sample sachet! Which sounds like more than enough to decide whether i like it or not!

I also love the brush that comes with it, sooo much nicer than my Real Technique eye set. I find those mostly a big big and the colour pay off isn’t so great. I only realised this when i used the one that came in the palette. I just thought it was me being finicky with the RL eye set, because i use the other RT brushes without issues 🙂

Yes *Oonga* I love the UD eye primers. I’ve got a full size original one. I liked the anti-ageing and sin, but didn’t really like the Eden. My tube has almost run out, and I will definitely repurchase.
I really love the Naked brushes too.

oohhhh i WAS going to just finish my Nars eye primer before trying the UD ones! But now you have enabled me to just try one of the UD sachets!! LOL!
I like the sound of the anti ageing one, god knows i need help there LOL!

How do the UD eyeshadow primers compare to the NARS one?

I’ve not tried the UD one yet! lol I was in a rush today and it was easier to just use the Nars than to open a sachet and pour it into a sampler pot.
The Nars is white though and the UD ones look coloured, Maybe someone who has used both can compare?

I do like the Nars one though, my eye shadow will stay all day and it doesn’t crease either.
If UD hadn’t come to australia i would repurchase the Nars without a doubt. Now it will depend on how the UD goes when i try it! 🙂

There is an eyelash primer that didn’t appear in the Aussie lineup called Subversion. I was really sad to see it didn’t make it’s way here.

I wonder if there is other things they didn’t launch, and if there will be more items added to the lineup down the track?
