Has anyone used/shopped from this website? It claims that their products are genuine but so much cheaper than here. Does anyone know if they’re reputable? Or should I stay well away?

I’ve had an account with them for a few months now and they do have amazing prices and they have free shipping which is always a massive plus for me. I am definately going to place an order with them in the New Year, see what they’re like. They look professional, I used to be paranoid about shopping from Strawberrynet but I’ve done business with them a couple of times now and have been very happy. I have googled eGlobal, to see if there’s been anything negative said about them but I couldn’t see a thing.

I know someone who just purchased some Xmas gifts from the site but I wondered if the goods were the real deal. I guess if most people are happy with Strawberrynet then this is probably the same.

Do not buy from the eglobalbeauty website! Before Christmas I purchased some Miracle EDP. It is definitely NOT genuine. I have been using the real thing for years and what I was sent from eglobalbeauty stung my skin, the fragrance smelt cheap and did not last (thank goodness). I immediately requested a refund. After looking for a batch number, as they requested, I noted the packaging had been defaced – two small white stickers were covering where two small pieces of the packaging had been cut out – presumably a real batch number (as I think this was a genuine box, but reused) and some small piece above the barcode section. I am still waiting for them to refund me as they discuss my concerns “with management”.

I was wary of purchasing from the internet, but this group seemed to have good reviews for their camera business which seems to have been running for a long time, so thought they would be reputable. Who knows – maybe their supplier is duping them but, regardless, it is not genuine product as advertised on their site. As the old saying goes “if it looks to good to be true, it probably is”!

I always buy my perfume from department stores or MyChemist/My Beauty Spot as I don’t want to risk of spending good money on fake, potentially dangerous knock offs. Hopefully you will hear back from them Jillymot and get your refund.

I usually ordered from strawberrynet but instead ordered from eglobalbeauty because I thought they are australian (they have com.au). It turned out to be delivered from hongkong, all the same with strawberrynet so they are not an australian company.

It’s very very slow, I ordered it ten days ago and they just sent me a confirmation today that it was just shipped today, so there is another week to wait.

Hopefully it will be genuine, but I will open it carefully.. learning from Jillymot experience. Thanks for sharing.

I got my product in the mail on Thursday- all in all maybe less than 2 weeks to ship, pretty quick for a package that came all the way from hong kong! The product was very well pacakged and was sealed inside and out- very happy with it as it was free shipping and they also gave me a bonus- a blue eyeliner penncil! Cute bonus :) However its some weird band and wasnt sealed (but didnt look used at all) , so its a bit risque but all in all my order had no problems :)

Yes – that’s what their website states.

What was provided had the classic signs of fake product, e.g. slight stinging on the skin (too much alcohol in formula), scent did not last when sprayed on skin or cardboard for much longer than a half hour. This would not be the case with genuine product.

Even acknowledging that scent may vary between batches – it would not vary to this extent!

Also, when the supplier provided an excuse to eglobalbeauty regarding the difference in scent, I found that what they sent in the email was copied word for word from a beauty blogger, which made me even more suspect!

@captaincheeky, please note that my product was also beautifully packaged to the extent that I did not notice these tiny modifications to the packaging until instructed to go looking for a batch number. Also the ordering process was excellent, having ordered on 26 Dec and received 4 Jan. Which is why I was so disappointed that the product wasn’t genuine!

I have attached a photo of one of the places the packaging had be tampered with. This is where I believe they have reused a genuine box (which, according to my research is a common practice in the production of non-genuine perfumes), cut out the original batch number which was printed in white on the bottom of the box, stamped a “new” batch number on the box, the same number of which has been stuck to the base of the perfume bottle, and then covered the cutout with a small white sticker. There is also a tiny piece cut out of the barcode strip.

Purchased estee Lauder re-nutriv eye cream and their moisturers. The product was delivered unsealed, moisturiser appeared to be tampered with. The colour, tecture, smell was very different from the original. I contacted estee Lauder customer care to report, and they have been made aware of companies like eglobalbeauty, strawberry net. Estee Lauder never discount their product lines, and to offer from 35-60% off their product line already puts doubts as to where they are coming from. Estee Lauder only supplies to David Jones, Myers and selected pharmarcy in Australia or their official website. My items were clearly counterfeit, the imitation was greatly done with the packaging however the creams was completely fake. Concern is what I’m actually using on my face??? Never again. Organisations like these needs to be criminally charged.

Just wondering if it is strange that there are 4 members on this thread with only 1 or 2 posts, solely their complaint about this website….?

Anyway I ordered a Clinique Chubby Stick from this site a few months ago and as far as I can tell it’s genuine. I had no trouble with postage time either.

It isn’t a fake but it is from a gift with purchase or purchase with purchase set. I used to sell Estee Lauder and that is how the GWP and PWP come packaged. It is still nice packaging but must be made to look different from counter products so consumers can’t return it to stores.

I posted because I wanted people to be wary of the website. I don’t believe this is a gift with purchase. I have purchased Estee Lauder products in the past and received free gifts and never did they look so damn tacky. The actual bottom of the palette is hollow and the logo doesn’t look right to me. I have been using Estee Lauder products for 15 years and this doesn’t look real. I emailed customer service 2 days ago and am still awaiting a response from them. I work as a CSR and if I took 2 days to reply to a customer I would be unemployed. The service is hideous as is the product. If the product was a sample or a gift with purchase item they should have stated it on their product description. Misleading to say the least.

I nearly placed an order with them yesterday….it’s so hard to tell. I’ve ordered with Strawberrynet before and was happy with what I got. I think I’ll hold off a while.

I am very familiar with the products I purchased from them. They were all fakes. The seals were tampered with and half missing. The La Mer fake was nothing like the real colour, texture or consistency. Beware I spent $650 for fake shit that I would not be game to use.

Do not buy it. it is a fake …not the genuine article. I am filing a complaint with the department of Fair Trading.
