Too fair for any highlighting concealers

So I usually use the lightest or 2nd lightest foundation shade from most brands. This in itself is difficult as most of the shades still don’t match my skin (either too pink, or too dark). Considering this, using a concealer to highlight my under eyes and other areas is almost impossible. All of the concealers I have used don’t highlight because it’s not pale enough.
Does anyone know of a super pale concealer that is perfect for highlighting? Especially for someone who is already quite pale!

Another forum mentioned Coles having a 50% off sale on Maybelline and Garnier products this week (the new catalogues always come out on Wednesdays). This is something to keep in mind if you shop there and you’ve been looking at Maybelline as an option.

You can’t shop online? I am super pale too and I buy either Japanese or Korean products (you can get them quite cheap on eBay). I cannot wear any BB or CC creams on Australian market but my Korean one is fab and so cheap. I use a Japanese concealer and it is wonderful and light.

I have this exact same problem — I’m really into highlighters and the whole strobing trend, but I’m too pale for all of the highlighters I’ve seen advertised, so I use a white shimmery eyeshadow and it looks excellent!

ELF has a sale on at the moment (however it’s online).

I also have really pale skin and the best light concealers I have found so far are the Smashbox High Definition Concealer in fair, the Nars creamy concealer in Chantilly, and the Makeup Forever Full Cover concealer in the lightest shade. They may be more expensive than the drugstore alternatives but I think it is worth the investment because to be honest the drugstore concealers just don’t provide enough shades and are usually too dark.
    Hope this helps 🙂

If you’re wanting it just as a highlighter rather than a concealer, then use a white chubby pencil and blend it (you would have to be super pale for this). What is your base tone? – yellow or pink or do you think you’re neutral? As you could go for a pale version of a different chubby pencil depending on your skin tone type (NYX has some excellent chubby pencils that would work in this situation).

As for relying on a concealer, don’t limit yourself to just this. Find the palest foundation with the consistency you prefer for a concealer and try that.
