straight eyelashes

Hi does anyone have any good eyelash curler recommendations or tips for people with straight eyelashes? I have the straightest eyelashes ever, not only are they straight but they actually grow downwards! I currently use a cheap manicare eyelash curler and it curls my lashes fine but I find that the curl only lasts half the day. Is there a way to keep the curl lasting longer? Help!

I’ve always wondered this, I have fairly straight eyelashes too. I’ve never curled them though…

Straight lashes are my problem too. Eyelash curlers and those so-called curling mascaras don’t cut it. I had my eyelashes permed a few years ago. It lasted a good 3 months on me, so it was so worth it. I could go without mascara when my lashes were permed. I’d like to do it again if I could find the time. It’s worth trying Xel1e 🙂

Hey, have you tried sky high curves mascara by maybelline? This is my fave mascara and it really does curl your lashes – it’s a fairly inexpensive option (less than $20) and might be an idea to try that first before spending heaps on eyelas perms and extensions etc. My eyelashes are naturally slightly curled, so I’m not sure how effective it will be for you but i think it would be a good start! good luck!

I regularly had my eyelashes permed because I have straight short lashes until I found out about Eyelash Extensions. I have been using eyelash extensions now for 2.5 years. I dont think the perming solution is healthy for you ( Sulphates) and the glue used for eyelash extensions is adhered to the lash and doesnt touch your skin. Now I have long thick seductive lashes that bring out my eyes. I feel naked without them and the best thing about them is that you dont have to wear makeup during the day to enhance your eyes. They are quite affordable and very addictive!

I’ve got really straight lashes too that nothing seems to work for, so much so that I don’t really attempt to curl them these days as I figure I’m just wasting time. I picked up the shu uemura eyelash curler a few years ago when I was in the States – I think it was good, but I didn’t have it for long before I lost it. Hmmm…I should really get one again seeing as I’m thinking of putting through another Sephora order.

Ergh, I feel ur pain! I have really thin, straight lashes and its the bane of my life! the best thing that works for me are the heated eyelash curlers, theres one you can get from priceline for $10 and it works great, and actually I’ve found that compared to the metal eyelash curlers, those mini sized plastic ones work much better. I found mine on ebay.

hmm eyelash extensions are just too expensive although where i work we get them done at a niiiice $30 buucks 😀 ohh rite have your heard of lilash? it’s a product that stimulates the growth of your lashes for fuller, thick and even curled flutters. just googliise it and you’ll find it. A cousin of mine bought this herself as for preparation for her school formal aaand daamn her eyes reaally do pop!
