i know this sounds a bit “out there” but what kind of moisturizers do you use?

i’ve found that my skin has been less oily ever since i started using oil as my cleansers and moisturizers…

Mac make a primer for oily skin, I use it and have found it is great compared to a standard primer. It comes in a large bottle, the pink based one is great for oily skin ( I forget the same of it) but they’ll know as soon as you say “the one with the pink lid” at the MAC counter, I love it and find my makeup isn’t slipping so much with this one, always the oil on my skin doesn’t discolour my foundation throughout the day when I use this primer

    Hey hun 🙂
I too suffer from an oily T – Zone, so I feel you on this one girl!

I have come across 2 primers that work really well for me & may help you as well 🙂

    Revlon PhotoReady Perfecting Primer
    https://www.priceline.com.au/revlon-photoready-perfecting-primer-27-ml
(free gift with purchase at the moment at Priceline)

Maybelline Master Prime – Blur & Smooth 100

I purchased this whilst I was in America last year, I’ve only ever come across it online since being back in Australia.

Not sure what your make up routine includes, but setting the face with a loose finishing powder & setting spray does also help.

A good setting spray to hold everything in place is the NYX Make Up Setting Spray – Matte
    https://www.priceline.com.au/nyx-make-up-setting-spray-matte-60-ml
    Or
The Australis Make – Up Finishing Spritz
    https://www.priceline.com.au/australis-make-up-finishing-spritz-150-ml

Hope this helps you 🙂 xo

Garnier Perfect Blur is quite good.

I’ve recently started using Klara cosmetics primer and I absolutely love it!

I might be going against the trend here but have you considered changing your skincare routine to control the oil? I found that after I started using a hydrating serum, my t zone is no longer shiny. It takes a while, a few months maybe, but you would be treating the root of the problem

Becca’s Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector is quite good. I generally prefer a more dewy look so I usually opt for an illuminating primer. But in the recent QLD heatwave, my makeup is just sliding off so I’ve switched to this primer and it’s working out really nicely.

Even though it’s a mattifying primer, I still get the right amount of radiance coming through just without that oil slick feel. In this heat, I’m even wearing it on its own on my makeup free days just to try to stop that “my face is melting” feel and it’s doing a great job. It’s like antiperspirant for my face!

I have Oily skin too and Primers just don’t work for me. I have been using Dermalogicas Oil Control Lotion. Try and get some samples of that and see how it goes
