I lost my eyelashes :-(

Hi guys.

I had eyelash extensions (full set of silk lashes) back in July and they looked beautiful. I didn’t have the hassle of mascara and it looked very natural.
It lasted 4-6 weeks before it started to fall out naturally and it look a good while before it shed completely. And now I’m left with really sparse lashes that’s hardly visible 🙁

I don’t know if the beautician did it incorrectly or if this is normal. This is the only time I’ve had extensions. When it shed I did notice that more than one eyelash was attached to one fake lash so I lost twice (or thrice) of my natural eyelashes.
Before the extensions I had long, full and plenty of lashes – they were straight and wispy but responded well to mascara.

How long will it take to grow back to the way it was before, has anyone else experienced this?
Honestly I don’t think it was worth it because the aftereffect of it was pretty much no lashes!

    Hi Pink_Sugar

So sorry this happened to you, it must be a very unpleasant feeling. A friend of mine had a similar experience, she used nothing in particular to make them grow back but now, about three years later she has her full lashes again. I know three years sounds a long time, maybe it won’t take so long for you but her lashes were completely gone, she was absolutely bare with no lash in site.

Good luck and I wish you all the success you need.

that’s awful. I’ve never had extensions so can’t give advice on a personal level, but there are a number of lash & eyebrow serums that are designed to help boost lash growth. It may be worthwhile researching them & trying them out
