I am a little confused.

Could somebody please verify for me, if a products directions says to use straight after cleansing, does that mean you don’t tone? I have an Alpha H product that is meant to go on straight after cleansing but before serum or moisturiser. I hope I don’t sound too dumb, but a little clarification is required……

I’d skip toning. I find products seem to absorb better into my skin if I use straight after cleaning (although depends what cleanser you use, some leave behind residue which would require a toner).

It is actually the Alpha H Instant Facial and it says to use after cleansing and follow straight after with serum and moisturiser? Thanks for your suggestion Rosie.

The right instructions when using skin care products is:
    – Cleanse
    – Tone
    – Serum
    – Day/Night Cream.

Do not cleanse your skin twice as that will dry out your skin as it gets rid of your natural oils (especially individuals with dry or sensitive skin)

    Hi Jenniqua!

It might be a good idea to get in touch with Alpha-H to see what they recommend – their consumer hotline is 1800 659 777.

I will find out tonight which product it is, sorry I have a shocking memory. PP it might just be the liquid gold.

What’s the product? If its liquid gold you don’t need to tone at all.

Best way is to cleanse twice, apply the product and then tone then serum/eye cream and moisturiser.

What Alpha H product is it?
