There are a few things you could try.
Firstly I would recommend a primer. The Too Faced Shadow Insurance is great, but if you were wanting a less pricey option, the Essence eye primer is also really effective.
Secondly I would suggest popping down a white base, something like the NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk works a treat.
    Hope this helps.

Applying white eyeliner can make the shade of eyeshadow more intense and decrease the need for an excessive use of said eyeshadow product

I use my face primer by smash box on my eyes too! i don’t believe in buying a separate primer for the eyes! waste of money!

I’ve used the Australis eye primer for years, and I can fully recommend that one, but I like the sound of the elf essentials one!

You have to try the urban decay primer potion! It totally leaves up tot the hype! Take it from a person who has super oily eyelids and everything that I put on my eyelids creases and smudges after an hour of wear but when I use the urban decay primer potion, my eye makeup lasts all day.

The Essence eye primer is not bad and is really cheap. I have used more expensive ones but now would happily just purchase it.

I use the Australis Eyeshadow Primer. It’s about $14 but often on sale, and I find it makes my eyeshadow last really well, even makes it look better than when I use no primer at all.

I use NYX white matte in a little pot, which I find is good, but I like Minh’s suggestion. I might try the elf next time. $3 – Wow!

Urban Decay Primer Potion is always nice, but if you’re on a budget, I’d highly recommend the elf essentials eye shadow primer. It’s my go-to for dance competitions as it’s only $3 and my wallet won’t hurt if I lose it. I’ve never had to touch up my eye shadow when I use it, even with all the sweating and bright lights. I also have relatively oily lids, so the fact that it makes my eye shadow last that long is quite a miracle. There are several different colours you can choose, but I’d stick with the sheer one – I’ve tried all of them and the sheer one is the best.

Rather than investing in the UD or TF eye shadow primers straight away, I’d recommend buying a budget one like the elf one first just as a tester. It’s only $3, so if it doesn’t work as well as you’d like it to, you can go ahead and buy a higher end product without any guilt 🙂 Good luck!
