Here’s What I’m Hoarding Right Now
Hello. My username is Lucrecia629 and I am a beauty hoarder.
Thank goodness for BH! You all get me. Only my fellow beauties can understand that if 1 serum is good, 20+ is not only better – it’s necessary. But my stash is getting out of control. My drawers are bursting at the seams with serums, cleansers, scrubs… You name it, I’m hoarding it!
So what are the rest of you hoarding? Can we all see? How are you organising it? What’s your plan for getting through it all? And, most importantly, what will you be adding to your collection next? 😉

Now my bathroom counter is not normally this cluttered however I had just finished getting ready to go out for dinner. My mainstays are my hairbrush holder and makeup brush holder (big ceramic pots that say “PREP”; they cost me $3 each… bargain), and my glass tiered stand that hold my dental floss sticks, my Q-tips and my cotton rounds. I have a press dispenser for my witch hazel and have since added another for micellar water, I have a pump dispenser for my oil cleanser and a foaming dispenser which I refill myself for soap.
My favourite thing on my stand however would have to be my ‘grass mat’ stand which allows me to completely air dry things like my sponges and makeup brushes when I clean them. That cost me around $25 from Big W and is actually for baby bottles. I also have a cute flower stand that you can buy to go with it for standing bottle nipples; I hang things off it.

Open haircare. This is what I use when I’m either styling my hair, or if I’m about to wash my hair. There’s a pre-shampoo and post-wash routine. I thought using a shoe caddy over the shower was the easiest way to reach for everything. I’ve also got a few lotions and powders, including dry shampoo, and my favourite hair ties and headbands. It is much better there than hiding in the cupboard, which is where it all went wrong back in September 2015. I even have my makeup brush cleaner in there!
I use a lot of these products weekly so this was a real game-changer for me.

So during a conversation with a girlfriend of mine last month, we got to talking about makeup and beauty product stashes. She’s a moisturiser fanatic, whereas I’m an everything nutter. I sent her a few photos to give her an indication as to how crazy my collection is (I’m still in the process of sorting my third room out, and this is after months of me culling my half used products since September).
The start of the share of my hoard begins now!
