Help im breaking out

I am breaking out and i am depressed.
Im not a fan of using foundation so i’ve been using only bb and cc creams.
Whenever i use bb creams, my pimples appear purple after awhile and this still happens even if i prime, conceal and set it with powder.

I need recommendations of foundation or bb cream products that will prevent this as well as products that are good at covering pimples + acne scars.
Also what are some good skin care routine/tips when breaking out?

I was breaking out a lot at the beginning of the year, so I know how you feel!! I’ve recently changed my skin care routine and what I’ve found made a huge difference is Estee Lauder’s Clear Difference Serum. I use it in the mornings after cleansing and my skin totally cleared up! I had a sample of it, and when I stopped using it, pimples started reemerging 🙁 but once I bought a bottle and started applying it again, clear skin!

In terms of foundations (I don’t really like BB or CC creams..) one of the few which didn’t make me break out is Too Faced’s Born this Way. Great coverage and very natural looking.

Is that Estée Lauder product expensive?? If not, I might look into it! ThankYOU!

I know you requested for CC/BB cream or foundation recommendations to cover up breakouts but recently I have been using Herbalism by Lush, a facial cleanser, and it worked so well and my skin is now so clear! I was really impressed with it 🙂 X

I have been also breaking out a lot recently..not sure of the underlying cause but I’ve recently purchased the Body Shop tea tree face wash, toner and oil. I use these in order twice a day. The tea tree oil is really good! It has been very effective on my pimples and kind of dried them out quickly. Some new pimples have since come up and I have just kept on with my routine on them until the skin is clear. It is pretty effective. It is a bit pricey as are all Body Shop products but totally worth it for a skin condition such as acne imo.

When I have any breakouts or redness in my skin I use Ego AzClear Lotion, and I find it brilliant (plus it’s really cheap!). I use it every night after cleansing (use cetaphil or phisohex cleansing wash). Also I use a green concealer under my normal skin tone concealer and this also hides any redness from pimples etc. Best of Luck!

for concealer i suggest maybelline master conceal its the best drugstore concealer I’ve tried its full coverage and blends into the skin nicely but you have to remember less is more. its also buildable just start with light layers.

I have terrible acne scarring, gouged marks and ingrown hair scarring, I now also have sun spots. I started to use the green concealer, while this worked I found I had to use foundation, but then I tried Thin Lizzy natural product. First, I used the concealer, but you have to use this sparingly and let it dry, then add Thin Lizzy powder on top of the concealer, finish off your cheeks blusher, eyes, and lips. It’s surprisingly how this looks so nice, natural look, for any occasion. If you have puffy eyes, don’t forget use the hemorrhoid cream, just dab a little under your eyes before the concealer. I have reaction to some products even natural ones. I mix up what products to use, I think being allergic to many things, even to talc powder, over the years I just learnt to mix it up. Don’t worry or be self conscious as you would be surprised just how many ladies do have this very same problem, trust me I know I have the lowest self esteem, and part of this is because of my scars and marks on my face.
