Help! advice needed on layering products!

Hoping some expert advice from my fellow Beauties on layering products. I love to use my EL ANR every night but I also love my rosehip oil, especially in the colder months when my skin needs a boost. Is it ok to use these together?

Rosehip oil first then apply your cream and the oil will help it absorb into skin.

Usually the rule goes; eye products first (thinnest consistency to thickest consistency), liquid serums, oils and finally moisturisers (if you use more than one thinnest first followed by thickest). If you use a sunscreen that goes on last 🙂

If it were me I’d go ANR first followed by RHO but if the other way around worked for you I wouldn’t worry too much 😛

I love layering products – sounds silly, but it feels like a real treat to use more than one of my favourite face concoctions!

I tend to go from products with the most watery texture to the oiliest, I kind of feel like the oil seals it all in at the end 🙂

At the end of the day I still believe go with whatever works for you.

I don’t think there’d be a right or wrong way, but I think I’d tend to put the ANR on first because it’s oil-free….perhaps it might absorb into your skin more effectively if it didn’t have to penetrate the layer of RHO. That’s just one of my crazy theories. Feel free to pay no attention to it lol!

I might try it the other way and see lol

I actually tried it the other way around last night PrettyPrincess and my skin feels nice and soft. I will try it your way tonight to compare lol!

Ive found they do work quite well together. RHO first then ANR on top for me.
If it works for you, go with it.
However at the moment I have been using ANR during the day and RHO at night.
