Good Hairdresser in Sydney!

Hi beauties!

I am in need of a good hairdresser for a trim which involves light layering (basic haircut…think Jennifer Aniston). It’s unbelievable that such simple haircut causes so much problem and i always end up coming out of the hairdresser looking like like a goof ball!

Now I’ve done my research and found a few I am considering:
– Saba Hair, Surry Hills
– Toni n Guy, Paddington
– Stevie English, Glebe
– Partners Hair Workshop, Glebe
– Minx Hair Studio, Surry Hills

Can anybody shed some light about how good they are? Or whether you would recommend any of them?

Thanks!

xoxo

Since this thread was brought up… went to Toni & Guy for thr first time (Sydney park street). Really unimpressed!! The guy who did my hair was a lovely person, but he cut my hair one side shorter and blunter than the other side! Even more frustrating he undercharged me and then I got a call at the end of the day asking me to go back and pay the difference, and when I did I received the WORST customer service (not to mention no appreciation shown for my inconvenience to go back). They tried to make me pay a credit card fee but I wasn’t charged a credit card fee when I initially paid the first time.

    Just the worst experience ever!

I highly recommend Johnny in David Jones Elizabeth street (Tribe) but he is EXPENSIVE ($140). I only go when I can afford it.

I’ve marked the previous post by Sydneyhair as spam.

Also, two older posts by lola83 look like spam.

Highly recommend the Star Hairdresser at the Casino in Pyrmont. They are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not cheap but worth every cent and so professional and friendly.
Just go, you won’t regret it.

Ok so I’ve resolved my dilemma. I tried out Minx Hair Studio and Robin is a genius! Love my hair cut. Highly recommend it if any of you beauties are looking for a good place at somewhat reasonable price!

The hairdressers have probably changed now, but I’ve been to the T&G Paddington salon (about 2-3 years ago) and didn’t return as I wasn’t particularly impressed.

I remember someone I know went to T&G and they weren’t overly impressed, they felt they could’ve got better results for their money elsewhere. Otherwise I travel down the South Coast for my hairdresser from Sydney so can’t be much help, sorry!
