Gelicious Nail Polish Kit.

I had not heard of this type of nail polish prior to entering the competition to win one. When I use normal nail polish on my fingers I am lucky to get two days before they start chipping. I was wondering if anyone here has used it and what you think. There are so many great products out there but I am on a budget so I need to take care that the product works before I even think of purchasing it, your help would be appreciated. Thanks Beauties.

I’ve had my Gelicious for over 2 years now and I absolutely love it. I have about 30 colours now, I just ordered 3 more and a new peel off top coat last week. I do mine about every 2 weeks (and my toes!). Usually I’ll get at least 10 days wear out of it, unless I’m really heavy handed and chip it – and if I do chip it I can do a touch up fix in 5 minutes. I figure I’ve saved $100s by doing my gel myself as opposed to paying salons, one of the best purchases I’ve ever made.

I have not used this but im totally obsessed with the Sally Hansen miracle gel polish.It makes nails thick and glossy,and i get 2wks wear before it chips.I always apply a white polish as my base,then add my colour.It requires no lamp and its a great polish and looks really good on.

If this is the nail polish that you have to set with the machine that may cause skin cancer then I would definitely pass, does anyone know if it is the same one. Thanks Beauties.

The amount of UV that comes out of those lamps is a lot less than the UV that comes out of the sunshine! It’s literally like spending 2 mins out in the sun! So until I see that someone has actually had skin cancer just from a gel lamp, i’ll be continuing to use my lamp! And Gelicious Lamps are Led, which have even less radiation than UV lamps!

Yeah you’re totally correct, they are totally safe otherwise they wouldn’t be on the market
but I would still wear some sunscreen on my hands just like I would if I was out in the sun anyway

I’m with you on this one Imi. I don’t intend to stop using my SensatioNail kit. Follow the directions and be sensible.

I have the gelicious kit. Its similar to shelkac, gelish and other gel polishes. If you apply it properly it can last 2 weeks. But it is a gel polish so it needs to be cured and soaked off at the end. A great purchase though. Ozsale often sell them

I don’t have any idea but you can buy one product for trial basis If you feel good then you can choose for more.
