Experience with Microblading?

I am considering getting microblading/ feather eyebrow tattooing done. I have done a lot of research and the results sound really promising when performed by a qualified technician (there was also a recent BH article about it).

However, it lasts from 12-18 months and the semi-permanency of the procedure makes me a bit anxious in-case I am not satisfied. Also it is noted it takes a month to fully heal!

Have you ever had microblading done? Would you recommend it?

I’ve been researching this a lot too, but I’ve been a little too scared to take the plunge!

You definitely get what you pay for, I’ve seen one ladies page who’s results are stunning but with a $600 price tag to match, and then other pages around the $300 mark but they look awful haha

A lady at work has just had hers done and they look absolutely amazing and really natural, she came back to work two days after and you couldn’t hardly notice, they didn’t look too “scabby”

I have it done recently. It is not painful at all!!
Just make sure you communicate really really well with the technician. Do not proceed with the microblading until you are happy with the shape of your brows as the technician will eye-pencil draw first before the procedure.
It usually takes 2 weeks to look more natural, and 3-4 weeks to look normal.
Do not freak out if the first few days you look like you have 2 caterpillars on your face. LOL

These photos look good. Some of the other ones I’ve seen don’t look as great. I’ll admit, I find it a bit frightening.

Oh this is something I have been considering for a while and few of my friends have had them done and are loving it…It is expensive though and the place I looked at charges $600. Not sure if I am able to justify it if it only lasts for 2 years,

I had mine done a week ago they are still really dark & I’m not really loving them yet.The hair strokes are not going the exact direction of my natural hair so not sure if they will settle in or if I will have to have some alterations on my 8 week touch up…undecided if it’s good or bad…?

I have just had my touch up.
it’s not painful as they use numbing cream. it looks really dark the first couple days but the pigment fades about 30% until your next touch up. i had really fine eyebrows and the shape was off due to over waxing. now i dont need to fill in my brows. i would reccomemd to anyone

I’m really interested in this too! Ive done a fair bit of research and from what i can tell they can show you exactly how it will look before you do it? Good luck though!
