Experience with laser hair removal or electrolysis?

I’m looking into getting laser hair removal or electrolysis done to my peach fuzz on my face, even though it’s not noticeable I feel like my makeup will look so much better without out. I just want to know anyone who has tried laser hair removal or electrolysis and their personal experience on it. The reason why I’m considering electrolysis is because I know that laser hair removal isn’t 100% permanent whereas electrolysis is.

I’ve had laser hair removal and it is fantastic. I have had it on my underarms and bikini area and have not had to shave or wax for five years. It can be expensive, as with mine, I purchased a number of sessions. But it has easily paid for itself many times over as I’ve not had to pay the beautician for five years. It hurts, kind of like a tattoo if you’ve had one, but very stop/start. The machines can have the temperature lowered or increased. I had one technician (as my regular was away) and she set the machine quite high. It was almost unbearable, compared to my regular (who, at my next session, explained that the machines temps can be set higher or lower to help you tolerate it – although the lower it is, the less effective it can be). All up, I would highly recommend laser hair removal.

I had the electrolysis done in a Brisbane clinic. It was too long ago to make a recommendation.

You said that you were only interested in laser or electrolysis for facial peach fuzz. I doubt that people would notice it unless you had dark facial hair. You can try waxing the hair or even dermaplaning (a fancy name for shaving).

I can only speak about electrolysis that I had about twenty years ago. Perhaps electrolysis has improved since then, but the electrolysis that I had was not effective. I went through a few months of treatment for some tough hormonal hairs on my chin. I gave up because I found the process unbearably painful. Not only that, the hair grew back. I’m still dealing with those hormonal hairs, but they’re even more coarse.

I have seen some laser removal gadgets that you can use at home. If I was considering laser, I would buy one of them.
