Essence or Serum?

Essence or serum usually mean concentrated formulas designed to do certain things – for example hydration, or intense wrinkle. They work in conjunction with your day creams and night creams, and are worn under the moisturiser. Always use sparingly. These serums often compliment the mositurisers and let them work better and quicker. Most companies I have bought from call them serums!

It totally depends on your skin type and skin concerns, there are so many different serums etc that target different problems. There are antioxidant ones, such as vitamin a, c and e then there are ones for redness, acne, aging, oily skin, dry skin etc etc etc the list is pretty much endless. You should probably go and get your skin assessed and see what is recommended for your skin. Let us know how you get on 🙂

Totally depends on what the serum or essence is for, if it is a vitamin/antioxident booster or possible something to tackle any number of skin concerns, different companies also produce similar types of products in different formulas such as creams, serums, concentrates, lotions and boosters.
