Dermalogica and acne scarring

Im now on my third week of using the Medibac Clearning System trial by dermalogica. So far not huge results and I have broken out but ill persist for a couple of months.

Has anyone used dermalogica products for stopping acne AND treating the scarring? I was using gamma hydroxy skin resurfacing but stopped whilst using these products.

Im happy to use a couple of products but really don’t want to doing the full regime I am doing at the moment forever but we will see how I go.

Thanks in advance!

How did you go with the dermalogica after a few months? I’ve just I started using a few products and in a week my skin looks so much better. Still some scarring but nothing like what it was last week

I ended up going for a skin consultation and got recommended a few products.
    Im current using
    special cleansing gel twice dails
    multivitamin thermafoliant 3 times weeks
    Clearing mattifier mornings
    oil control lotion mornings

That’s seems to be working well but scarring still bit of an issue 🙁

I really love the multivitamin thermofoliant. I got a trial size once in a David Jones sampler tote and absolutely loved how it transformed my skin . It made my skin so smooth and evened out my skintone a bit.
I love the warming sensation it gave to my skin as well. Thanks for reminding me about it , i definitely think its worth buying the full size.

I find that rosehip oil helps with my scarring. I tend to massage it to my skin

Hi Adalina, I can’t comment on dermalogica products as I haven’t used them before although I currently have adult acne and am using Hiruscar gel to clear up my acne scars / pigmentation.

    http://www.hiruscar.com.au/

I’ve been using it for around a week and have noticed the scars on my cheeks (some of which I’ve had for ages!) are fading. The gel is quite drying and although it says not to use it on active blemishes (woops) it’s been helping to dry these out also.

    Hope this helps 🙂

Hi Adelina633, I used to have both eczema and pimples. I previously used Dermalogica products while I was working in the laser clinic but none of the products in that range worked for me. My friend introduced me to Nu Skin Clear Action Set. She suggested I mix some of the products up since I have eczema but the cleanser was amazing. It has salicylic acid which is a plant extract that penetrates the pores and clears out the dirt and impurities. If you look for any cleansers for pimples, that ingredient is a must. For scarring, the night cream of the Clear Action Set is amazing. It’s got ingredients in it that helps get rid of the dark spots and scars. I’m surprised I can’t find much recommendations on this website. Ever since I started using the products from this range, I haven’t looked back to any of my old products. Love it!
