Cracked peeling lips

Tried searching for a thread on this topic but I couldn’t find one so anyway… Recently my lips have been ridiculously dry, cracked and sore. I have no idea why.. I use pureceuticals pawpaw ointment all the time but even that’s not doing it for me. Lipbalms soften my lips but as soon as they wear off my lips go right back to being dry. Does anyone have any (preferably natural) suggestions?

You can scrub your lips with a toothbrush.

A friend of mine swears by nipple cream for her cracked lips. Im unsure of a specific brand but maybe lanolin?

Have you tried Hurraw! lip balms? They have one that you can leave on overnight as a treatment. They’re 100% vegan and cruelty-free so you’re also not harming any animals in purchasing and they are super affordable.

I have had permanently chapped lips for years now and every single lip balm that I’ve tried has left my lips the same as before (constantly peeling and rough).

I stumbled across Lansinoh Lanolin through a suggestion on another forum. This is genuinely a miracle product; my lips are now baby soft. It is marketed as a nipple cream but it’s simply 100% pure lanolin (what they use in lanolips) and it is amazing. I have not had the slightest crack/peel on my lips since using it. Definitely buy this product if you have dry lips. I thought I was going to be stuck with horribly blemished lips for ever, not anymore.

I second Lush lip scrub! So good for scrubbing away dead skin and it also tastes amazing! I find Carmex works great as a lip balm and is quite friendly on the pocket as well. I always keep a little tub in my hand bag.

Avon plumping lip conditioner, I suffered from sore cracked lips a few years ago and this was the only thing which worked for me. I’ve used it ever since. You can also use it underneath lipstick.

I swear by carmex! Whenever my lips get really sore and dry I apply a thick layer of carmex before bed and they are normally better by morning and back to being soft after a few days of use. I hope it helps xx

Try the all natural lip balms from Lumiere Beauty!! I had the same problems with my lips until I tried their lip balms! Usually I apply it before going to bed and my lips will be soft and moisturized for the whole next day. Honestly best lip balm I’ve ever used. I just bought another one so I’d have a spare one in my car. =)
