Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner

Thoughts on this? I’m thinking of getting it as m eye lids are so oily and my liner always smudges down at the bottom of my eye. The maybelline gel liner is no good for me sadly so am thinking of getting this.

Didn’t BH publish an article about eyeliner and getting it to stay put recently?

I haven’t used the Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner (it’s on my list to try), but I like L’oreal’s Superliner Gel Eyeliner. I also like e.l.f. cosmetics Studio Cream Eyeliner. I often get transfer to my eye crease because I have hooded eyes. I didn’t get transfer with the L’oreal liner, but I did get minimal transfer with the e.l.f. liner.

I love bobbi brown gel liners and if you store them upside down they won’t dry out as fast. I also think MAC fluidlines, inglot gel liners and nars paints are good but my daily liner is physicians formula lash booster pen, which is a liquid liner.

I like gel eye liners. You can go over the line with dark shadow to really seal it in if you like.

Have you considered or tried NARS eye paint/gel eyeliner? I recently purchased it in a brown colour and the staying power is AMAZING. I too get oily eyelids- I find using a primer underneath really helps too. Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner is great but my pot dried out quickly. However it too stays in place pretty well.

I had the same problem until I got my first Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner few years ago. It is a perfect product that my eyes love it.
Great quality, nice colours….believe me…you will love it.

I think your transfer could be your mascara. I have the same issue and noticed that my mascara is the root cause. My eyeliner only smudge on the top lids but if i wear eye primer then it won’t be a problem.

If you are getting transfer, is it definitely because of your eyeliner or because of your mascara?

Sometimes your mascara can cause a bit of transfer too.

I have been having the same problem as well and have to bring in make up remover wipes with me and have to reapply foundation under the eye to make sure it wont make extra smudges

Have you tried wearing eye primer underneath your eye makeup? I use the Urban Decay primer potion and it keeps the eye liner and eyeshadow intact the entire day.
I haven’t tried the Bobbi Brown gel liner personally but I use the MAC gel liner and I kind of feel meh about it tbh.
