Best day cream for over 40.

I am struggling to find a decent day cream with spf coverage that actually helps with anti-ageing? Any suggestions?

I use Monsia Skincare’s Intense Moisturizing Day Cream it has an SPF-15 rating, not greasy, and I use a light foundation but no powder. I am in my late 60s

Thanks for the support TrishD 🙂

Misfortune8 you will be pleased to know I took up your advice and lodged a complaint with the ACCC.

I actually expected to receive a phone call from the manager monday, but still nothing 🙁
Not sure why I thought I would receive one considering the way they have handled things so far!

I am finding it really odd that head office have completely ignored both my emails though!
Surely with franchises it reflects negatively on other franchises?

Good onya Oonga! You’re doing the right thing.
The fact that the manager hasn’t called you & head office are ignoring you can be disheartening, but this proves you’re doing the right thing. There’s no question of negligence on every level.

I like Jane P’s idea too! Their facebook page!

Really pleased you’ve contacted ACCC. Oonga. It’s almost impossible to comprehend how the head office can stick their head in the sand as they’re doing, isn’t it?

You will propably find these days more attention is focused on social media – so jump on to their social mediafacebook pages and have a rantdo a negative review. You will probably find that will get more attention 🙂

*Oonga:* you’re not being petty, it IS a matter of principle. They’re inept, negligent & seemingly unconcerned – you’re doing the right thing. Good on you, the pics are conclusive evidence.

Oonga, just chiming in here with missfortune8, whose post is spot on. I really feel for you. That is simply unforgivable and I’m so pleased you are following up on it. Good luck, Hun. Look after yourself.

*JaneP* you probably did spot one of my reviews, I just did a cut and paste of it 🙂
I have been keeping it very moisturised with jojoba oil, then eye cream once that absorbed 🙂
My eyes look all healed up now, just my upper lip is still pink.
I was angry typing in my reviews, I hope I wasn’t unnecessarily harsh 🙁

*cat lover* Negligent is the right word! I wish I had used it in my email to them! I can’t believe they thought I would go back for further services after that *gasp*

oh Oonga, I feel bad this happened to you. Whats worse is they didn’t even give you a simple apology for the injury they sustained on you.
Id definitely take it further especially considering the then extremely rude and non-professional way in which you where treated after. I hope other customers in the store saw/heard this too.
I feel so mad for you!

You are well within your rights for a refund, you didn’t pay to be burnt like that.
At the very least I would have expected them to apologies and offer you a product to assist with the healing (understand that they may not have been able to process a refund with out the manager there) so letting you know the manager would be in contact in the next day or 2 to discuss this further with you.

Thanks Pretty Princess for your thoughts 🙂
I actually emailed the head office first, on monday, then found the salon email address and sent them the photos. So the manager was able to see the photos herself.
The person who rang the manager saw the photos on my phone, so I struggle to understand why the manager was unable to authorise a refund over the phone?

I would understand if they were not able to get hold of the manager that they themselves couldn’t authorise a refund. In my job there are lots of things I can’t approve, but I can certainly have them approved over the phone by management above me.

Would love some some feedback on why under those circumstances the manager could not approve a refund over the phone and still phone me to discuss the issue, without me having to go out of my way another day to obtain a refund, well provided she agrees to it when/ if she rings me. Genuine question because I am really not seeing a genuine reason for that, so would love some insight to it 🙂

I don’t work in sales so there may be different reasons that I don’t know about 🙂
