My son has bad psoriasis on his scalp, and the one range that helped his scalp enormously was Billie Goat Soap. Made a huge, swift, positive difference. I highly recommend their gentle shampoo & conditioner range

I had the exact same problem!! Moroccan oil do an oily scalp treatment that is fantastic – really helps stretch your washes out and for the dry scalp… depending on the severity you can try Selsun Gold from the supermarket or Nizoral from the pharmacy. Nizoral is a bit stronger but I also find it doesn’t leave a gross feeling in my hair too. Selsun can leave my hair feeling really dry which is not great since I bleach mine! Hope this helps!

I’ve had psoriasis on my scalp for 20 years and it drove me insane sore, itchy flaky.
I tried everything, and i mean EVERTHING.
Eg.
Prescription cortison ointment that left my hair oily.
Head and shoulders and T Gel left my scalp feeling dry and itchy
I came across a product called Moo Goo its all natural and list all the ingredients in simple terms so we know what’s actually in it.
It’s amazing my scalp was feeling soothed the moment I used it from day 1.
It’s not one of those natural shampoo that don’t make your hair feel smooth.
The conditioner is devine making my hair feel so soft.
The smell is like a big vanilla milkshake.
It’s about $17.95 for 500ml at selected pharmacies.

I’ve been ‘no poo’ for just over a month and my scalp went wild with flakes.. I put a few table spoons of olive oil in with 2 egg yolks.. Then mixed it with water and applied to my scalp. It worked far better than I could’ve imagined and it was less heavy/greasy than coconut oil.

Me too. I read a post here and followed the advice on jojoba oil
1. Before washing hair, rub Jojoba oil all over scalp and wait 15 minutes, then wash hair as normal
2. As part of my skin care routine, I now put jojoba oil on my face, with some oil on my fingertips, I also put oil on my hairline, so if my scalp dries out the next day, it’s not as obvious, but won’t be to oily. -

I’ve mentioned this before but I found A Bit Hippy shampoo and conditioner helped my flakey scalp so, so much. In winter, my scalp tends to flake along the hairline which is so annoying because it’s so visible, especially when I tie my hair back. But since using their products, it’s finally under control and no flaking at all. 🙂
